The villagers of Longsheng Village, Zaoqiao Township, Miaoli, have persevered through the threat of mob violence to protect their hometown from being polluted by business waste. After 20 years of struggle, victory is now in sight. However, cases of illegal dumping of business waste are still occurring near villages everywhere in Taiwan, and we are all implicit.
