Because of a faulty toaster, an “average” housewife finds that she has replaced the heroine in one of her treasured romance novels. Beset by the whims of fortune and multiple love inter-ests, she struggles to maintain her dignity and chastity, with varied results. She also discovers that fantasy is fine, but boys will be boys.
