Ten year old boy pilot called Gore Vidal. A young boy learns how to fly new kind of aeroplane with simple controls. M/S of boy, Gene, standing in front of aeroplane with man. They have a stilted conversation about how easy new aeroplane is to fly. They then climb into cockpit and man takes boy through joystick movements.
