Overview

This film documents the ongoing decade-long people's movement in Hasdeo, Chhattisgarh, against coal mining and the Adani-state nexus. Hasdeo, one of India's largest dense forests with rich biodiversity, is called the 'Lungs of Chhattisgarh'. Despite heavy repression, the movement has succeeded in preventing mining in 22 out of 23 coal blocks. Made by students from COLLECTIVE DELHI, the film highlights the struggle for survival, livelihoods, forests, and climate change.
