In colonial Philadelphia, Innkeeper Jeremy Proctor runs the Cock and Hound Inn with his wife, Annabelle, his three daughters Maude, Eliza and Abby and his bellman, Bert. Jeremy has a problem, as he does not have the necessary funds to send his daughters to the ball (which will hopefully lead to marrying one of them off).
