Overview

Postoto-the epitaph of Oto Katamadze from Batumi, who made his school friends listen to 30 years of out-of-fashion Led Zeppelin, put together a band that a few years later turned out to be one of the brightest and most influential blues bands in Georgia — and died in a car accident. Assembled from the monologues of close friends and colleagues of the musician, the film evokes an almost physical sense of loss, lack: in the place of the main character in this story, an uncomfortable, not yet prolonged void yawns. The snow-covered Black Sea coast in the finale is not the most obvious (and yet readable) visual image of rock and roll: from the winter Yalta in "Ass" and the final scene of "Needle" to the classic cover of "Russian Field of Experiments", white snow in the post-Soviet latitudes has always been considered a suitable background for the slogan Live fast, die young.
