Overview

The film, which was shown on the occasion of the “International Migrants Day”, tells the story of “Mihiret”, a young Ethiopian woman who came to Lebanon to work as a domestic servant. Mihiret, who supports her mother and daughter in Ethiopia, begins her tragic journey with the labor system for female migrant workers in Lebanon and its inhumane conditions and moves from one job to another, experiencing physical, psychological and material abuses and depriving them of their rights as workers and as a human.
