Biography

Marisé Álvarez is a Puerto Rican actress and comedian, founding member of the Teatro Breve collective. She studied drama at the University of Puerto Rico and earned a master's degree in theater at the University of Manchester. Simultaneously, at a very young age, she began in theater. In 2007, she made her film debut appearing in "Maldeamores" (2007) by executive producer Benicio Del Toro, and a year later made her television debut in "Che – The Argentine" and "Che: Guerrilla." Since then, she has alternated between roles in Spanish-language and English-language films.
