Biography

George Josef (born George Iosef; July 25, 1945 - January 8, 2004) was a Romanian stuntman and actor. He began playing at the age of 11 in a theater play from September 1956 to June 1957 on one of the stages of the National Theater Bucharest, Romania. From 1964 to 1979 he began to approach the cinema as an actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator in various films, both Romanian and foreign productions. In 1979, he moved to Italy and worked in various Italian and English productions. In 1980, he left for Canada where he began his American acting career. He quickly became one of the most sought-after stuntmen and member of the Canadian Stuntmen Guild since 1981. He died on January 8, 2004 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
