Biography

Phil McCordic is a Toronto-based television creator/producer. He has worked for two decades in front and behind the camera. He is the creator and show-runner of two television series: Zerby Derby (3 seasons, TVO/TFO) and Science Max, Experiments at Large (3 Seasons, TVO). In 2020 Phil launched Windy Isle Entertainment Inc, a new production company that will premiere its first show, 'Mittens and Pants' in the fall of 2022 on CBC and Sky UK. Phil has also produced a number of web series: 'According to Kids' for CBC and 'How Much is Too Much' for YTV. Phil has credits as a creator, host, producer, director, researcher, writer, story-editor, editor and even graphics department. His creations are viewed worldwide with a combined global audience of 200 million. He is the winner of two Gemini awards, a YMA award and 3 Canadian Screen Awards (for each of the three seasons of Science Max, Experiments at large).
