Hyash Tanmoy identifies himself as a filmmaker, trans-disciplinary thinker/ researcher, creative entrepreneur, and social/cultural anthropologist with a diverse approach to gender equality, non-discrimination, racism, culture and heritage conservation, historical and architectural preservation, economic improvement through multi-layered human race development. His majors are surrounded by new media, cinema, fashion, photography, research, and archival management, curating, and idealization. His interest in global politics, international relations, and human conscience aligned with his self-taught process of studying Contemporary & Comparative arts and literature.
In the mid of 2017, he co-originated WYND360 Foundation to establish humanity and solidarity through art and liberal imagination, which later took control over his earlier initiatives called Junior Masters and Zero Degree Arts and merged with this non-for-profit entity. In 2019 along with his creative team he co-founded Zephyr Atelier, a video, and new media house to interrogate and create a dialogue with alternative art and visual culture.
His films and projects have been exhibited, critically acclaimed, and honored in more than 70 festivals around the world. He is working on the process of improvement in cinematic movement, forms, and artistic empowerment through the research-oriented art and multidisciplinary institution his organizations, and independent collaborations in India and around the world.
