Dragica Carlin has Croatian origins but lives and works in London. She is a professional artist – a painter who uses photography in her creative process.
Dragica uses photography for expressing moods and sensations, for capturing urban energy or for portraying episodes from daily life. Photography has often seen her seek to immortalize objects or situations that suggest the precarious and fleeting aspects of life, invisible or hidden spaces and objects in equilibrium with reality.
Dragica observes situations, people and their thoughts in the context of their lives and photographing scenes from life encourages her to study the relationships between the metaphysical world and the material world, between man and what surrounds him.
