Biography

Migue Siman is a director, writer and producer from San Salvador, El Salvador. He started his production company Black Coyote in 2016 after producing several live stage competitions and theatrical productions in his late teens. Migue directed his first feature film Matlatl (2017) at the age of 22, which was distributed locally in El Salvador. He's directed multiple plays including "Let The Right One In" (by Jack Thorne) in 2019, "The War of the Worlds" (by Joe Landry) on February 2020, "Witness for the Prosecution" (by Agatha Christie), "Lend me A Tenor" (by Ken Ludwig), "Frankenstein", and "Wendy & Peter Pan" in 2021, and the musical "Urinetown" in 2022. A couple of short films directed by Migue have been screened in multiple film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival/Campus Movie Fest program where he was nominated for Best Special Effects and Best Drama in 2014.
