Biography

Dauren Sergazin was born on October 6, 1984, in Temirtau, Karaganda Region. He spent his childhood in the Kapal-Arasan settlement of the Almaty Region. From 1990 to 2001, he completed his secondary education at Kapal Secondary School. From 2002 to 2006, he studied at the Theater Faculty of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, specializing in drama and film acting. His mentor was Nurkanat Zhakypbai, an Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a professor of art studies. In 2006, he appeared in the TV program "Kymyzhana" on the Qazaqstan TV channel. In 2007, he became an actor at the "Zhastar" Theater in Astana and was one of the theater’s founders, alongside his mentor, Nurkanat Zhakypbai. Since 2007, he has been a leading actor at the "Zhastar" Theater in Astana.
