Born in 1992, Esra Kucur graduated with top honors from the Performing Arts/Acting Department at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts. In 2017, she participated in various training programs on acting, contemporary dance, and martial arts at the Grotowski Institute in Poland. Later, she received training on Eugenio Barba’s technique of non-daily use of the body from Odin Teatret members Jan Ferslev, Donald Kitt, Carolina Pizarro, and Roberta Carreri and performed a presentation at the institute.
Starting classical ballet and contemporary dance at a young age, she pursued these alongside her acting education, leading her to focus on dance theater. She has performed as both an actor and dancer in many productions. Currently, Esra Kucur continues her work in acting and dance and also does voice-over work. She is pursuing her master's degree in the Theater Department at Haliç University Graduate School.
