Taiwo Egunjobi is a Nigerian screenwriter and film director. His passion for film began early in life, making his first film at 18 years old. He's written films like Femi Odugbemi's Gidi Blues with Femi Kayode, The Grudge, Tunde Kelani's Sidi Ilujinle.
As a film director, his short and feature films have been selected and screened in several film festivals including NollywoodWeek Festival in Paris, Real Time Film Festival, Zuma Film Festival, Eko International Film Festival, Karnavati International Film Festival ,Uyo International Film and Theatre Festival, In-Short Film Festival
His films are often themed on satirical ideas. Taiwo believes in the power of art to produce higher thinking, via aesthetic storytelling choices
He's also the editor in chief at Filmkaku where he writes about African filmmaking.
