Masato David Hayakawa (Japanese: 早川 雅人, Hayakawa Masato, born December 17, 1986), known professionally as Masato, is a Japanese–American singer, musician, lyricist, and model. He is best known as the bandleader and vocalist of the Japanese rock band coldrain since their formation in 2007. He was a former member of AVER, alongside one of his fellow coldrain members, drummer Katsuma Minatani.
