Steven Tad Damron (born April 9, 1973) is an American singer, songwriter, and author. He is best known for forming West Virginia gospel band Restore The Broken in 2021, as well as being a vocalist and keyboardist. Steven "Tad" Damron was born to Mary and Ted Damron on April 9, 1973 in the southern coalfields of Wyoming County, West Virginia, United States. He has two sisters, Ashley and Alisha. He graduated from Baileysville High School in Baileysville, West Virginia. His father, Ted Damron (1948-2020), was a pastor. Damron's father pastored a church, House of Refuge, near Pineville, West Virginia for over 30 years. His mother, Mary Damron, was a missionary for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child program. She has traveled to multiple countries to deliver shoebox gifts to some of the World's neediest children.
