Eira Krizette L. Camara is a student filmmaker from Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. She studied at De La Salle- College of St. Benilde with a degree in Film, specializing in screenwriting. She is the writer and director of the 35th Gawad Alternatibo short film honorable mention award winner for animation entitled, “Bakit Di Makatulog si Kael?”. Additionally, she is a major collaborator at Pilipit Films, which gave birth to the award-winning short film "Kokuryo: The Untold Story of Bb. Undas 2019". The majority of her works display social criticism that strives to move, disturb, and educate its viewers, in line with her beliefs about the fundamental purpose of filmmaking.
