Seán Leahy is an Irish filmmaker currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree at University College Cork, majoring in Film and Screen Media with a minor in English. With experience as a writer, director, cinematographer, and editor, Seán has contributed to a diverse range of film projects. His 2023 short film, "An Unnerving Realisation," premiered at the UCC Film and Screen Media BA Showcase as part of the 2023 Fastnet Film Festival. Seán is actively involved in several indigenous Irish film clubs and societies, including The Peoples Picturehouse Cork, a monthly film club promoting local talent in Cork City, and the UCC Film and Photography Society, which hosts regular screenings and industry workshops. Additionally, Seán is the founder of Visuals: Cork’s Silent Film Club, which is dedicated to celebrating the cultural and historical significance of silent-era films in the Cork community.
