Sathyan is a Tamil film actor and comedian. He is the only son of veteran producer, Madhampatty Sivakumar and is the nephew of noted actor Sathyaraj, whilst Sibiraj is his cousin. Making his acting debut in 1999 with a lead role in Ilayavan, he subsequently has been appearing mainly in supporting and comedic roles in over fifty Tamil films.
