Four women in horrible apartments in Stockholm's inner city. They are miserable and very emotional. They are extremely lazy and sad and that's why they're treating this night out as their last night alive. Darkness is mixed with humour, and to tell the darkest stories, contrast is used. It's a mixture of light and fun and panic attacks. The unusual thing about Post Partum Party is that nothing is censored, nothing is being glamourised in any way. These are not good girls. These are dieting, ungrateful hags who aren't trying to make the world a better place, women we love for their flaws, their kindness, beauty and living conditions, and their struggle to cope in this world.
