Mayor Sourdough asks Pants to look after Nana Ribbit while she is in town. Pants says yes, because he’s very responsible. But Nana Ribbit proves to be a pawful. Every time Pants turns around, she’s disappeared, only to be found driving the fire truck, or up somewhere high, or having many other daring adventures. Watching Nana is harder than Pants thought.
Its the great bouncy ball hunt. Pants and his dad won last year, and Pants is determined to win the whole thing this year. But it’s not as easy as he remembered. If only he had said yes to being on Mittens and Blueberry’s team. They had a wagon! Mittens and Blueberry wish they had Pants’ puppy nose on their team as well.
Pants goes to Mittens’ house ready to play a ‘kitten game’. But no matter what game he tries - from staring into space to whack-a-bee - Pants just can’t seem to be kitten enough to play these games. Many require a lot of patience and staring at things for a long time - and Pants just isn’t sure he can do it.
Pants brought all his dog toys to the town square so he could play with the other puppies. But when Pants leaves, Mayor Sourdough finds the door to his office blocked with toys. He calls Spinach the dump truck frog to clean them up. When Pants returns, he discovers his toys have gone missing and decides to search for them with his friends.
Pants has a very special present for his mom’s birthday. Now all he needs to do is wrap it. Pants’ Dad distracts his mom with a walk while Post Pig Petunia comes over with her post van full of wrapping paper. But no matter how careful Pants is, his wrapping job just isn’t good enough and he wonders if his mom will like his present.
Dun dun duuuuun! Pants is playing Superpants. He runs all over Kibble Corners helping everyone he can. But when he tells the baby chicks about his adventures as a superhero, they point out he isn’t wearing his cape. It turns out he never had it on while helping others. Can he still be a superhero without a cape?
Today in Kibble Corners, Pants the puppy was enticed by a smell coming from inside his house. His dad had baked piles of puppy treats! Knowing he couldn’t eat them all, Pants sets off to invite his friends: Mittens, Blueberry the tortoise and even Mayor Sourdough to a puppy treat picnic. The problem is, they don’t eat puppy treats.
