Emily is a socially anxious newcomer to the workforce, teetering on the edge of social interactions in the office. Thomas is an interior designer recently heartbroken by a sudden breakup, dreading solitude. Their lives and experiences are drastically different, yet they find themselves in the same kitchen, separated by three years in different periods.
