Cecilia cannot see her family; she is living in hiding, fleeing from the CNI. Her group, led by Rodrigo, organizes an operation to rescue Salomón. Cecilia and Rodrigo travel together to Buenos Aires, which intensifies their relationship. Cecilia stands out for her work in the operation, and Rodrigo asks her to participate in the main mission of the Patriotic Front.
Cecilia is part of a cell of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front that operates in the port of Valparaíso. The group carries out an action that lands them on the news. Cecilia adopts her combat alias; she will be known as "Tamara." Bareta, the agent of the CNI, investigates the attack carried out by Cecilia's group and discovers a clue that leads him to them.
Cecilia is a sociology professor at the university. After a class, two of her students are kidnapped by agents of the CNI, the political police of Augusto Pinochet's regime. The experience changes her, and she decides to join the armed resistance with the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front. It is there where she meets her commander and companion in the fight: Rodrigo.
