Tsuyoshi Tatsuzaki is disqualified from practising law due to the betrayal of his best friend. Rookie lawyer Narumi Akikawa quits her efficiency-oriented law firm because of her sense of justice. Former Marutobushi detective Kenjiro Kazama, who has been forced out of his job after his underhanded misdeeds are exposed.
