Magdalena: Anghel sa Putikan is a Filipino drama series created by RJ Nuevas and developed by Agnes Gagelonia-Uligan, directed by Gina Alajar and produced by GMA Network. It banners Bela Padilla in the title role, with Dion Ignacio as her leading man, Ryan Eigenmann and Pauleen Luna as the main antagonists. The series premiered on October 8, 2012 on GMA Afternoon Prime block replacing Faithfully and October 10, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. The series is also part of the networks set of shows for the last quarter of 2012, along with Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga and Yesterday's Bride. Based on Nuevas' comics novel, Kukulayan Ko Ang Langit, the series follows the ill-fated life story of Lena, a provincial lass who has been conned by a rich-looking Manila boy into joining him to the city of her mother’s fantasy. She sets foot on the big, bad city and is quickly transformed into prostitute. The series ended on January 18, 2013. It ran for 15 weeks with a total of 75 episodes to be replacing by Forever on January 21, 2013.
