LAM WAI listens to SHUN LING's advice on the stocks and finally becomes bankrupt. Out of anger, WAI gets into a fight with her and wounds her on the face. YAN receives a further blow when a new boss comes to take over the company. Her power is lessened. Frustrated, she decides to resign. At this point, HOK MAN comes back to Hong Kong. She finally sees the light in the love of this childhood friend.

HUNG falls into the trap of Bill and are photographed naked by him. She gets into a fight with him and is seriously injured falling down the hill. JO YAM decides to go for a trip. YAN learns it too late to stop him. She is heart-broken. HUNG loses interest and confidence in life after the accident. SAI CHONG stays by her side to comfort her. The two make up their quarrel.

SHUN LING pulls her vengeful bow against LAM HUNG. She makes use of a playboy Bill to approach HUNG and win over her affection. JO YAM tries to change his lifestyle for YAN but fails. The two starts a cold war. KIT-CHONG gets to know a man called HUI WING CHEONG. They get along well with each other.

SHUN LING's mother gets into a fight with YAN thinking that YAN has taken JO YAM from SHUN LING. She falls down the street and dies. SHUN LING puts the blame on YAN and swears to revenge. SHUN LING becomes the mistress of a wealthy business man in order to get news on the stock market.

HOK MAN decides to study abroad. YAN sees him off in the airport. YAN decides to accept the offer and return to FOK ON fashion company. However, she meets the envious eyes of TAT CHOR who hates to see her rise to power. YAN faces problem in her love affair with JO YAM. She feels insecure, while JO YAM feels that she has put too much effort in work. SHUN LING tries to seduce JO YAM but is ignored.

YAN is told by CHUN SAI of HOK MAN's love towards her. While surprised, she refuses him. LAM WAI gets into a conflict with KIT YEE and releases his frustration by whoring. Unfortunately for him, he contacts a sex disease which causes her wife to miscarry their second baby. In despair, KIT YEE asks for divorce. SHUN LING realizes too late that JO YAM is going out with YAN. Out of jea- lousy, she gives a hard time to YAN in the office which causes YAN to resign.

HO MING begs forgiveness from YAN. YAN refuses to go back to him:. JO YAM is saddened by the death of his father. He gradually finds YAN a sympathetic listener whom he can pour his heart to. He starts his roman- tic pursuit at YAN. HOK MAN tries to gather his courage to declare his love to YAN, but fails. YAN discovers that SHUN LING has sold herself for exchange of business. She is disgusted at first but later finds her worth of sympathy.

KIT-CHONG starts a fierce quarrel with HO MING. In confusion, their baby drops on the floor and dies. In despair, KIT-CHONG asks for divorce. JO YAM stops dating SHUN LING after their quarrel. SHUN LING finds a chance to apologize to him and they make up their quarrel. KIT YEE miscarries her baby. Her mother-in-law is disappointed. HUNG is disappointed to learn that the model coach is actually 'owned' by a wealthy woman. YAN encourages her to concentrate on her work.

SHUN LING uses dirty means to grab a big client from her competitor. JO YAM learns it with disgust. HUNG is infatuated towards a model coach Bill and tries to date him. But CHUN SAT always comes into her way. KIT-CHONG tries all means to please HO MING but is unsuccessful... YAN talks to HO MING and is shocked to hear that he wants herself back to him instead. CHUN SAT discovers that HOK MAN has loved YAN all this time and encourages him to speak out his mind.

HUNG dreams of becoming a model. She succeeds in getting a freelance job in SHUN LING's fashion company. LAM WAI's property company prospers. He proposes marriage to his girl- friend KIT YEE and is accepted. KIT-CHONG is bored with life as a young mother. Added to her depression is her dispute with her mother-in-law. She pours out her grievances to HO MING, who gradually finds her irritating. YAN mediates the quarrel between KIT-CHONG and HO MING. At this point, HO MING rediscovers the charm of YAN and finds his marriage regretful.

YAN joins a fashion design contest and wins a prize. HUNG also becomes famous being the model. LAM WAI turns to investment in properties. YAN is worried. SHUN LING observes that she is losing the trust of FOK ON and decides to start her own business. She invites YAN to help her.

KIT-CHONG gives birth to a baby girl. HO MING's parents are disappointed. They treat her coldly. LAM'WAI becomes a scapegoat 'in a business crime. He gets dismissed. His girlfriend suggests he works for her father. But LAM WAI turns it down. TAT-CHOR wants to criticize SHUN LING in front of FOK ON. To his surprise, he discovers that FOK ON actually has an affair with SHUN LING.

LAM HUNG is not interested in her studies. She finds a job in a boutique, despite her brother LAM WAI's objection. LAM WAI graduates and finds a job in a bank. He feels inferior in front of his girlfriend's family. SHUN LING discovers that TAT CHOR uses his power to earn money for him- self, causing the company to lose money. She brings it up to her boss FOK ON. TAT CHOR is furious:

MEI YUK starts a quarrel claiming that YAN is the third party who comes to destroy her relation with HOK MAN. SHUN LING gives a lot of chances for YAN to pick up the knowledge about fashion. YAN attends fashion shows and cocktail parties to get acquainted with people in the fashion world. YAN attends JO YAM's one-man show on photography and finds his works impressive.

YAN goes to JO JAM's studio and is tricked by him. She is furious. YAN attends the wedding of HO MING and KIT-CHONG. She is heart-broken. SHUN LING is sympathetic towards YAN's situation. She encourages her to concentrate on her work. HOK MAN decides to break with his girlfriend MEI YUK, who threatens to commit suicide.

YAN regains confidence in her work. But her relation with her boyfriend HO MING grows worse. To her shock, HO MING has been dating her good friend KIT-CHONG. When KIT-CHONG gets pregnant, they are forced into marriage. YAN buys a gift for HOK MAN when she receives her salary. This arouses great jealousy in his girlfriend.

CHUN SAI arranges YAN for an interview in a fashion company. The person- in-charge TAT-CHO is prejudiced against her. She does not get the job. However, she gets acquainted with another manager KEUNG SHUN LING, who finds her performance impressive. YAN gets acquainted with photographer HA JO YAM. HA, an aesthete and a romantic, falls for SHUN LING's melancholic beauty. YAN gets recommended by SHUN LING and finally secures a post in the fashion company.

YAN's examination results is disappointing. Her good friend KIT-CHONG gets admitted to the University. YAN gets into a big quarrel with her mother. She stays out for a night and recalls how her deceased father used to love her. YAN returns home and reconciles with her mother. Under the encourage- ment of HOK MAN, she decides to find a job and work her way to success.

CHAN hawks in the street and is arrested by the police. YAN has to bail her out and gets late for the examination. She is dejected and hopes to get a summer job. But CHAN insists that she helps her with her hawking business. CHUN SAI starts dating HUNG. HUNG has little feelings for CHUN but sees no harm going out with him. YAN always pours her heart to HOK MAN and meets the jealous eyes of . HOK MAN's girlfriend MEI YUK.
