Grace adopts Mashaal’s son. El Khal commits suicide before getting arrested. Badr returns to Syria and learns that Juliet's left the country. Ubaidah confesses his love to Bethan. Saeed's children travel away as their father tries to control their lives.
El Khal fabricates many charges against Sarab, Saeed’s daughter, to punish her father. Juliet decides to travel, seeking to improve her living standards. Saeed decides to secure his family's future.
Fadi passes away. After his release, Hilal feels defeated for having been unjustly imprisoned, after which he goes to check on Bethan and Juliet. Grace becomes upset by Mashaal's frequent traveling.
Rihab is forced to disclose her relationship with Badr in order to discredit him, after which he decides to travel to Kuwait to work there. The singer Mayada passes away.
Fadi decides to sell his possessions after his mother’s death to build a sanatorium for AIDS patients. Mashaal asks the girl with whom he slept with to abort the baby. Saeed survives a murder attempt and returns to his country, smuggling gold bars.
Badr helps Grace to travel and have her surgery. Grace warns Badr against his relationship with Rihab and cheating on Juliet, while Grace learns that Mashaal is cheating on her. Aqeel intervenes to solve Hilal's problem.
As George travels to Greece to rescue his daughter, he puts the house in his sister Grace’s name. It's revealed that Badr is having an affair with a student of his at the university. Hilal is taken to the hospital after getting stabbed in prison. Aida learns that Fadi has AIDS.
Juliet suspects that Badr is having an affair with another girl. George saves his daughter after a bunch of guys try to rape her. Mashaal asks Grace to have the surgery without delay.
As Badr returns to the Levant, he finds out that his brother Hilal is in prison, and that Juliet suffered a stroke, and eventually he begins working as a teacher.
Aida begins an affair with El Khal to help her brother Fadi out of prison, after which Fadi decides to leave the country. Grace tries to travel to Lebanon, but is unable to on account of the war.
As Fadi gets arrested, Saeed refuses to help him. Grace visits her brother George to check on him. Hilal's health condition worsens after being transferred to prison.
El Khal threatens Saeed on account of his relationship with and helping out Hilal's family, and he suspends him from work. Lore donates some of her property to build a school. Mayada starts singing on the radio.
Hilal gets tortured as the police suspect that he’s a spy after his visit to Jassem. When Juliet suffers a stroke after losing her money, Saeed and Aida stand by her.
Lore refuses to give her sister her inheritance after their father's death. Juliet loses all the money she’s invested at the investment company. Hilal gets arrested.
Najwa agrees to return the ownership of the house to Sawsan on the condition that her daughter Mayada sings to her guests. As the Muslim Brotherhood wreak havoc in Syria, they shot at Hilal while doing his job.
Badr checks on Juliet's father before traveling, and leaves money for Juliet, with whom he split up, to take care of his daughter. Mashaal travels to Beirut with Grace.
Juliet decides to put her money in a investment company to buy a house. Hilal finds out that Juliet has given birth to a girl without informing Badr, whom Haifa asked to come back.
El Khal transfers Saeed to a clerical job. The situation of Abu Fadi and his family gets worse. Juliet starts her job as the managing editor of a newspaper, meanwhile a dispute arises between her and Badr.
Juliet starts her new job as the minister’s secretary. Aida is happy when she finds out she’s pregnant. As the doctor tells Hilal that his son suffers from epilepsy, he asks him to seek treatment as soon as possible.
Grace’s family refuses to marry her to Mashaal. Badr refuses to leave his girlfriend, Juliet, despite the disapproval of his older brother Hilal of that relationship.
