Armando and Betty get married, and Armando Manzanero sings "Somos Novios". This story ends with the birth of a baby girl.

Armando officially asks for Betty's hand. Margarita tells them that she organizes the marriage. Marcela leaves Ecomoda and Patricia leaves behind. Nicolás is very sad.

Betty publicly forgives Armando, and they kiss to the applause of the entire production staff and the Cartel. Aura Maria and Freddy reconcile. Armando and Betty take Daniel out of Ecomoda. Hermes asks Betty for explanations for her behavior.

Daniel tells Betty that he plans to liquidate Ecomoda, which makes Betty, and the Cartel go to look for Armando, who is in the production area saying goodbye to the staff.

Armando is a mess at the office, Mario tries to comfort him. Julia invites Michel to the house. The Cartel is very sad when Betty tells them about Michel's proposal to take her to Cartagena.

Michel formally proposes to Betty the position in Cartagena and Catalina tries to persuade her to accept. Armando cries in despair when he reads of Betty's betrayal. Betty tells Nicolás that she is going to resign from Ecomoda.

Betty introduces Michel to Armando and Armando treats him angrily. Michel insists that Betty accept the proposal to work with him in Cartagena. Armando takes Betty's diary to the office and begins to read it all with tears streaming down his face.

Michel proposes Betty to go to Cartagena to manage a chain of restaurants that he is going to set up. Armando enters the presidency and takes the picture of Betty and the Frenchman out of her wallet, and also takes out the newspaper and reads excerpts from the beginning where Betty admired and loved him in silence. Betty enters and introduces him to Michel.

Armando remembers the models' comment about the Frenchman Betty was with in Cartagena. Michel greets Betty very much in love. Patricia flirts with the Frenchman. The Cartel gathers in the bathroom to discuss Michel's arrival and Armando enters the bathroom.

The Cartel are shocked to see Michel. Armando tells Calderón that he had nothing to do with the Venezuelan woman and that he is going to get Betty back. Betty is solving a problem and no one can find her.

The Cartel find Patricia arriving with Nicolas in the car with wet hair, Nicolas tries to explain what happened, but no one believes him. Michel appears in Ecomoda.

Alejandra discovers Armando's love for Betty, she asks him to seek forgiveness. Nicolás takes Patricia to lunch, the Cartel consoles Betty. Betty recognizes that it hurts her to lose Armando.

Alejandra arrives at Ecomoda to sign the contract and Betty summons Marcela and Armando to the boardroom, Nicolás hands her the contracts.

Bertha tells the Cartel and they tell Betty that Armando broke up with Marcela. Nicolás offers Patricia a ride to and from the house.

Armando tells Marcela that he is going to be alone. Marcela lets him go and stays crying. The Cartel asks Bertha to spy on Marcela to hear what she tells Patricia.

Betty confesses to Catalina that it hurts her that Armando is playing the fool with the Venezuelan. Armando takes the Venezuelan to the hotel and tells her that he is going to solve the problem with Marcela. Marcela receives Armando with the things of the marriage in the room, he tries to talk to her to end the relationship on good terms.

Mario Duarte appears at the end of the parade. The Chilean TV interviews the Cartel, Freddy ruins Aura Maria's plan with the Chilean. Catalina approaches Betty who is very sad.

Marcela hides when she sees Armando with the Venezuelan woman. Hugo announces a surprise.

Betty asks Armando to present the fashion show, but he pushes her to do it because it is her collection.

Hugo tells journalists that he is going to resign. Kike Santander appears.

Armando arrives with Alejandra and meets Betty. Armando learns that Betty was in Cartagena from Claudia Helena who is talking about the Frenchman.

The Cartel goes to the studio to get ready for the night. Alejandra asks Armando to introduce her to Betty.

Armando discovers Patricia and Bertha spying on him with the Venezuelan. Betty scolds Aura Maria for spying on Armando.

Armando receives the Venezuelan woman very flirtatiously and the Cartel tells Betty that it was a Caracas romance. The Cartel plan an espionage.

Armando goes to Betty's office and gives her a report of his trip very coldly, Betty is puzzled.

Betty scolds Nicolás because he lent Patricia his cell phone. A month later, Nicolás arrives with Patricia's car. Armando shows up at Ecomoda.

The counselor arrives at Ecomoda to change the look of the Cartel. Betty finds Patricia with Nicolas' cell phone. Patricia yells at Betty and tells her to stay with her company, that she is leaving.

Betty defends herself against Daniel and denies him the advance. At the exit of the restaurant, Armando is waiting for her and makes a jealous scene.

Nicolás leaves his cell phone with Patricia. Betty tells the Cartel all about her trip to Cartagena and her walks with Michel, Mariana reads her cards. Betty arrives at the restaurant for her date with Daniel.

Catalina confronts Marcela and tells her that she will support Betty in everything. Patricia asks Betty for a raise, Betty refuses.

Betty tells the Cartel everything and asks them to keep quiet. Catalina Ángel arrives at Ecomoda to the committee and tells everyone that she was the advisor for Betty's change.

Betty arrives with the new car at Ecomoda. Betty gathers the Cartel in the meeting room so that they can explain the conversation in the bathroom, they confess, and Betty is ready to tell them everything.

Freddy enters the disco and sees Aura Maria dancing with a guy. Armando enters the disco and asks Betty to talk, but she tries to leave; however, she feels pressured, and they talk. He tells her that he loves her.

The Cartel tries to get the secret of Ecomoda out of Betty, but she refuses. Armando and Freddy have a drink in a bar and Armando asks Freddy to find out the address of the discotheque where the Cartel is located.

Betty hires Jenny again. The Cartel invites Betty to a disco to celebrate and Armando overhears and tells Freddy to go for a drink. Margarita, Marcela and Patricia go to dinner. Betty calls Nicolás and tells him that she is appointing him Financial Vice President.

Patricia makes a fuss in the board about Betty's appointment. Betty goes in to talk to Marcela, but Marcela is still as cold as ever, Betty tells her that she wants nothing to do with Armando. Hugo tells Jenny that she is rehired in front of Betty and the Cartel.

Hugo enters the boardroom and upon seeing Betty is terrified, but when he learns of his appointment as president, he wants to resign. Roberto calms everyone down and introduces Hermes as the company's new accountant. Armando and Mario hand over the position to Betty. Gutiérrez announces Betty's appointment to the employees.

Betty asks as a condition to accept the Presidency that Marcela does not leave Ecomoda and that she hires Nicolás Mora. Hugo arrives at Ecomoda and Patricia tells him that they are waiting for him in the boardroom.

Betty faces aggression from Daniel and Marcela, but lawyer Santamaría convinces them that the company has to be managed by Betty. Roberto asks Betty to accept.

Roberto asks everyone to analyze the situation with Betty and she calls her lawyers. Armando and everyone are surprised by the change. The lawyers tell the board that Betty has to remain in charge of Ecomoda.

Betty enters Ecomoda and the surprise is for everyone, the Cartel, Patricia and Marcela. Bertha resumes her work and goes with her baby. Roberto asks Betty not to give him the company and to manage it until everything is resolved.

Betty agrees to talk to Roberto in front of the meeting at Ecomoda. Betty meets Catalina and they go to an optician's and Catalina makes her change her glasses. Betty arrives at Ecomoda.

Roberto decides to be the one to talk to Betty. Betty complains to Julia about having read the newspaper. Santamaria cancels the appointment with Betty and the lawyers in his office. Roberto calls Betty.

The lawyer Santamaría advises them all to stay in Betty's hands to save the company and they finally accept. Betty discovers that her mother read the newspaper. The board has to decide who will talk to Betty about the new conditions.

Hermes, after being surprised by Betty's change, scolds her and demands that she put her face on Ecomoda. The lawyer Santamaría exposes to the board the possible solution to save Ecomoda where everyone has to sell their assets, everyone protests.

Roberto tells the board that Betty has no intention of stealing the company and that she is arriving that afternoon to work things out. Betty's lawyers show up at the meeting and set up an appointment with Betty for the next day.

Roberto and Hermes talk and reach an agreement on very good terms.

Catalina takes Betty to the Rosario Islands to perform a forgiveness ceremony for Armando to return to Bogota. Roberto arrives at Ecomoda in the company of the lawyers.

Betty goes out with Michel for a walk in Cartagena and says goodbye to the sea. Armando asks Marcela to forgive him. Armando goes to Betty's house and tells Hermes that Betty stole his company.

Michel takes Betty to the beauty pageant very well dressed. The Cartel, Marcela, Patricia and the Pinzón family watch the beauty pageant. Armando sees Betty on TV and thinks he is crazy. Armando throws Betty's picture in the trash.

Michel asks Betty to forgive him for having dared to kiss her. Armando reacts in favor of Marcela. The Cartel asks permission to watch the beauty pageant in the boardroom. Michel goes to the hotel to pick up Betty.

Cecilia congratulates Betty for the change. Armando calls Julia and she complains about what he did to Betty and forbids him to call her again. Nicolás tries to convince the lawyers to stop the process.

Armando goes into a bar very drunk and picks a fight with a group of fighters who leave him badly hurt. Michel flirts with Betty.

Michel convinces Betty that she is fine and that he wants to go out with her and not to do Catalina a favor. Armando calls Julia and she passes him to Nicolás who informs him that the court ruled in Betty's favor. Armando, Mario, Margarita and Marcela panic.

Catalina asks Betty to stop by the beauty salon for another makeover.

Margarita begs Armando to get Marcela and the company back. Nicolás calls the lawyers, but they say that the seizure can no longer be reversed.

Nicolás refuses to tell them where Betty is and tells them to wait until she arrives. Patricia makes another scandal to Nicolás. Betty asks Nicolás to send the foreclosure lawyers to Ecomoda.

Michel accompanies Betty and asks her to meet him the next day. Armando is still drunk in the bar; they take him out and send him in a cab. The board meets again waiting for Betty to show up. Nicolas arrives and after slipping away from Patricia enters the meeting room.

Catalina and all the friends convince Betty to go to a party in a chiva to say goodbye to Tais. Marcela talks to Armando about her absurd love for Betty, but he still doesn't hear her. Michel invites Betty to stay with him for a while at the beach.

Michel is very impressed with Betty's change. Betty has a conversation with Franco de Vita. Catalina convinces Betty to go out that night to Tais' farewell party. Armando keeps calling Julia, but she still doesn't tell him where she is.

Nicolás tells Julia about Terramoda and Ecomoda, and the legal problem Betty is in. Catalina buys Betty some clothes and takes her to the hairdresser's where she only has her hair removed. Michel is astonished to see Betty's change.

Betty meets Buque Gloria. Nicolás Mora arrives at the meeting on Betty's behalf, but everyone rejects the replacement. Patricia attacks him with questions, Armando begs Nicolás to tell Betty that he needs her. Catalina and Betty arrive at a clothing store to buy clothes.

Armando confesses to Marcela that he fell in love with Betty. Tais gives Betty advice to free herself from sadness. Catalina and Betty go to the arrival of the Gloria Ship that is received by the President of the Republic.

Catalina convinces Betty to wear one of her dresses and put her hair up, and they go to the English army cocktail party with Chica da Silva, Michel and Ornela. Betty feels very lonely and out of place the whole party. Marcela asks Armando if he fell in love with Betty.

Julia tells Betty that she is needed the next day at Ecomoda and Betty asks her to tell Nicolás to go on her behalf. Catalina and Betty receive Tais at the hotel and plan to go out with her in the evening. Catalina tells Betty to accept a dress from her on loan.

Betty keeps telling Catalina about her tragedy. Marcela asks Armando about the wedding, and he decides not to conciliate. Roberto and Margarita arrive at Ecomoda and meet with the lawyers and Daniel, concluding that Betty must be present in the process.

Betty definitely stays working with Catalina. Armando insists Julia to tell him where Betty is.

Betty refuses the invitation to go out that night with Catalina and Michel, she prefers to stay alone and tour the hotel, she goes to the sea and touches it for the first time. Armando drinks alone in a bar thinking about Betty.

Betty accompanies Catalina to a party with the queens at the fishing club where she meets Michel, a French friend of Catalina. Marcela tells Patricia everything and Bertha's son is born. Meanwhile, Armando drinks away his sorrows in a bar.

Betty tries to talk to Catalina to tell her what happened at Ecomoda, but Catalina asks her to take advantage of the trip to forget everything. Patricia is told that her car is being taken away for good.

Patricia is shocked when Marcela tells her that Nicolás is a starving man. Armando goes to look for Betty, but she has already left for the airport. Betty arrives in Cartagena with Catalina and is fascinated by the sea. A call from Marcela comes in on Catalina's cell phone.

Marcela shows Margarita the cards and Armando's letter seized by Betty. Marcela and Armando talk about their relationship with Betty.

Roberto tells Armando that he never wants to see him again. Catalina calls Betty and tells her that she is waiting for her at the airport. Armando calls Betty, but she refuses. Armando decides to go look for Betty.

Marcela has Armando returned to the boardroom. Betty says goodbye to her friends and Marcela forces her to show her Armando's cards that she carries in her bag. Marcela reads several and Mario's letter of instruction.

Betty resigns and returns the company and the car. Roberto asks Armando to resign, and Armando does so, but rejects Daniel's proposal to liquidate the company. Armando goes to look for Betty, and when he is hugging her, Marcela arrives.

Betty gives the board the actual balance sheet, in addition to the letters and uncovers the reality of Ecomoda, Daniel and Armando confront each other, Marcela cries. Armando tells them the whole process of the assembly of Terramoda, Daniel and Marcela panic when they learn that Betty is the owner of Ecomoda.

Nicolás arrives at Ecomoda to leave Betty's car, Patricia knows that he is downstairs and goes out to look for him, Nicolás flies away. Betty enters the meeting room with the folders, Armando and Mario open them and see the letter of instruction to conquer Betty.

Marcela tells Margarita that Armando is not sure he wants to get married.

Betty overhears Armando and Mario talking about sending Betty on a trip abroad so that Armando will marry Marcela.

Betty asks Nicolás to wash the Mercedes-Benz to deliver it. Patricia tries to contact Nicolás, but he hands the cell phone to Betty. Rafael continues to Inesita. Olarte brings Daniel the report from the Chamber of Commerce where Ecomoda is embargoed by Terramoda.

Betty announces to her family that she is leaving Ecomoda the next day and delivers Terramoda with the car. Nicolás leaves Patricia's house without giving her the check for the 6 million. Armando promises himself that he will never marry Marcela.

Inesita and Rafael talk about the 20 years of absence and Rafael asks her to forgive him and listen to him. Patricia harasses Nicolás for the check, but first she puts him to bed and makes love to him. Betty tells Hermes that she is going to resign from Ecomoda.

Armando arrives at Ecomoda and Betty hands him the make-up report. He confesses his love again and kisses her, Betty says goodbye knowing that it is the last kiss. Armando admits to himself that he is in love. Nicolas leaves the checkbook in the car before going up to Patricia.

Patricia introduces Daniel's friend as her boyfriend. Armando tells Marcela that he can't go to her apartment because he has to go to Ecomoda to work with Betty. Daniel's friend tells him that Ecomoda is heavily in debt with the banks.

Betty authorizes Nicolás to continue the game with Patricia but warns him to watch his pocket. Daniel offers Patricia one of his friends.

Armando begs Betty to believe he loves her; she gives in and kisses him.

Marcela complains to Armando for getting slapped by Betty, who defends her. Betty confirms to Catalina her intention to travel. Armando harasses Betty to make up the balance.

Betty asks Catalina, crying, to please take her away. Daniel shows the papers from the Chamber of Commerce where Betty's name appears as the owner of Terramoda, she defends herself and Roberto ends the discussion. Patricia asks Nicolás for the money for that same night.

Betty gives the real balance sheet to Armando and Mario, who are concerned. Betty tells them that she will give them the balance sheet in the evening. Catalina suggests Betty to go with her to the United States. Marcela complains to Betty about the slap.

Marcela demands from Gutiérrez that Aura Maria replace Bertha. Rafael, Inesita's husband, appears after 20 years of abandonment. Armando apologizes to Betty and admits that what happened was out of jealousy and that after the meeting he will make it public. Betty does not believe him.

Patricia, seeing that Nicolás does not bring the checkbook, gets him to promise to give him the check the next day. Mario forces Armando to apologize to Betty and to write her a card.

Armando ends up hitting Nicolás and leaves him badly hurt. Betty stops the fight by hitting Armando. Patricia asks Nicolás to go home so she can heal his wound.

Armando arrives at Inesita's house where the entire Ugly Cartel and Hugo are. Patricia waits for Nicolás. Armando insults Nicolás.

Sofía visits Efraín at the prosecutor's office. Betty sees Marcela in her wedding dress.

Margarita visits Ecomoda with Armando and Marcela. Hugo asks Marcela to try on her wedding dress.

Armando writes a card to Betty without Mario's help, where he tells her that she is the best thing in his life and that he no longer feels anything for Marcela.

Armando tells Mario what happened the night before with Betty.

Nicolás tells Betty about the kiss with Patricia, she warns him to be careful. Armando and Marcela arrive from Ecomoda together and Betty learns about the closing of the apartment they bought together. Catalina calms her down.

When Nicolás goes to Patricia's house, Armando arrives furious and complains to Betty like a jealous boyfriend, until Hermes comes out and it's his turn to leave. Patricia invites Nicolás to come up to her apartment and makes the car repossession show, he promises to help her.

Armando follows Betty and Nicolás. Betty gives Nicolás permission to visit Patricia on the condition that he doesn't give her a single peso.

Nicolás arrives at Ecomoda to pick up Betty, and she leaves with Patricia. Nicolás freaks out, and she calls a taxi. Armando follows Betty and Nicolás to the Lenoir.

Sofía, through her lawyer, manages to have Efraín arrested. Jenny makes a scene for Sofía and ends up undressing in the hallway in front of everyone. Nicolás arrives at Ecomoda to pick up Betty.

Betty furiously calls Nicolás and complains about Patricia. Armando and Mario overhear her. Nicolás resigns from his position as manager. Armando again complains to Betty out of jealousy. Patricia asks Hugo to hire her as a model, but Hugo mocks her.

Marcela tells Armando about Daniel's intention to sell his Ecomoda shares. The headquarters calls the Lenoir and they confirm that Patricia had lunch with Nicolás Mora the night before. The headquarters decides to tell Betty.

Betty reminds Armando that he promised her that once the meeting is over, he'll cancel his marriage to Marcela. Daniel Valencia tells Marcela that once the meeting is over, he'll sell his shares. Marcela asks Armando about the previous night.

Armando tells Mario about the nightmare he had last night with Betty. A friend of Marcela's who saw Armando with Betty calls her to tell her. Armando asks Betty if she still loves him.

Patricia invites Nicolás to the apartment, but he is petrified and says goodbye. Betty authorizes Nicolás to take out a credit card. Armando writes a card to Betty.

Armando discovers the phone number Betty dialed in the bathroom.

Betty tries to seduce Armando, but he doesn't let her touch or kiss him where they are. Patricia and Nicolás arrive at the Lenoir, and despite the awkwardness of the situation, she begins to seduce him.

Betty, as she left with Armando, remembered that Nicolás had taken the Mercedes-Benz. Betty felt humiliated when Armando greeted everyone and didn't introduce her. Nicolás picked up Patricia and they headed to the Lenoir. Betty began drinking straight vodka.

Patricia tells Marcela that she's going out that night with Nicolás Mora.

Sandra, frightened, denies to Mario that someone took the package. Armando writes Betty a card, and she reads it and throws it away. Armando asks Betty to meet up that night, but she tells him she's going out with her friends.

Armando begins to suspect that Betty is taking revenge on him. Marcela tells Patricia she's going to find out everything about Terramoda and Betty's boyfriend. Mario asks Sandra if anyone took the green package she left on a desk.

Betty and the barracks order lobster and champagne. Daniel tells Marcela that at the meeting they're going to ask for her capital to withdraw from Ecomoda. Armando suspects Betty of revenge.

Betty takes her friends to lunch at the Lenoir in the Mercedes-Benz she's driving. Armando and Mario are with a customer, and everyone is surprised.

Betty manages to avoid the topic of their relationship until Marcela interrupts them. Daniel confronts Betty about her boyfriend's car, and she answers him undeterred.

The entire Ecomoda department is amazed by Betty in the Mercedes-Benz. Armando asks Betty for an explanation, and she confesses that Terramoda bought the car.

Armando rejects Marcela again, and she suffers from the thought that he's in love with someone else. Armando has nightmares about the car and Nicolás. Betty takes Nicolás to a clothing store, and she arrives at Ecomoda driving the Mercedes-Benz.

Armando follows Betty and sees Nicolás and Betty enter the house. Armando calls her, but she refuses. Hermes and Julia complain to Betty about the car. Betty tells Nicolás that she'll tell Armando the next day that she knows about his plans. Marcela tries to convince Armando to marry her.

Hermes is concerned when he sees Nicolás in the Mercedes-Benz. Betty rejects Armando's invitation to take her home. Nicolás flirts with the driver when he sees the car. Armando and Mario are shocked when they see Nicolás picking Betty up.

Betty and Nicolás buy a Mercedes-Benz, and Nicolás drives her to Ecomoda. Marcela, Patricia, and the entire headquarters watch them arrive. Armando, deeply hurt, complains to Betty about lunch with Nicolás, but she defends herself by reminding him that he invented that strategy. Patricia takes Nicolás's card to call him.

Betty evades the ugly women's headquarters. Armando arrives at Betty's office, but she manages to hide her grief and tells him to leave because her father is coming to pick her up. Catalina suggests taking her home, but Betty tells him she doesn't want to go back to Ecomoda.

Betty photocopies Mario's letter and returns the package to Sandra. Sofía receives a message from Efraín's lawyer, and she is worried about the house. Mario calls Armando to remind him about the package with the instructions, and Betty overhears the conversation. Catalina discovers her crying and inconsolable. She tries to calm her down.

Betty, horrified, reads all of Mario's instructions for Armando. Cecilia Boloco finds her crying and Betty attacks her, but Betty tries to calm her down by telling her about her lovelorn feelings. Betty packs everything back into the bag and leaves the office.

Marcela begs Betty to tell her if she thinks it's possible to continue her relationship with Armando, but Betty remains silent. Sandra gives Betty the package Mario left for Armando with the gifts and a letter with instructions and poems to leave for Betty. She opens the envelope and begins to read.

Mario takes Cecilia Boloco around Ecomoda, and she hears Armando's screams as he argues with Marcela. Armando decides to stay to relieve the pressure on the suppliers and calm Marcela down. Marcela invites Betty to lunch.

Aura Maria arrives late with Fredy, but Marcela finally forgives them. Betty interrupts Armando and Marcela's conversation about the trip to tell Armando he can't travel because he has to negotiate with suppliers. Marcela becomes furious. Cecilia Boloco arrives at Ecomoda.

Armando goes to Marcela's house and avoids her when she tries to seduce him. Marcela is very hurt because now she really believes she's losing him. Armando tells Mario about Betty.

Julia calls Bertha to invite her to celebrate Betty's birthday. Patricia gets a car, hats, and goggles to camouflage herself and follow Armando. Armando agrees to pick Betty up at 10:00 when the party is over.

Sofía ends the conciliation meeting with her ex-husband on a bad note. Nicolás calls Betty to congratulate her and invite her to lunch, but she tells him she's going to celebrate with the barracks. Hermes tells Nicolás and Julia to throw a surprise party for Betty at the house. Patricia and Marcela plan to follow Armando that night to see him with his lover.

Armando and Betty run out of the nightclub before Aura Maria spots them. Armando, quite angry, doesn't say goodbye to Betty with a kiss. One of the girls from the bar steals Nicolás's cell phone.

Patricia runs out of gas and causes a scene because she hasn't been paid. Armando asks Betty for a loan in dollars to send to his parents in London.

Armando kisses Betty again and tells her about a relationship, but also warns her that no one can know, not even those at the barracks.

Mario runs away from Patricia and goes out with one of the models. Armando takes Betty home and tells her of his love for her; they kiss passionately.

Sofía damages the promoter's cell phone. Armando feels guilty about what happened with Betty and doesn't talk about it. Patricia and Marcela make fun of Betty, and she overhears them.

Armando, very upset and remorseful, is convinced by Mario to confirm to Betty what happened the night before, and Mario promises that he will do it that night.

Armando asks Betty to dance a bolero and tries to seduce her. Armando, who has continued drinking, tells Betty he's fascinated by her and kisses her. Frightened, she runs away.

Roberto and Margarita arrive, very worried about the failed collection. Marcela tries to calm them down. Armando and Betty urge the bank manager to be cautious about the embargo.

Bertha and Sofía manage to get the company to force Patricia to take some tests, including a pregnancy blood test. But she isn't listed as insured in the contract.

The ugly women discover Patricia exercising at a gym and suspect she's pregnant. The lawyer and Nicolás file a claim for seizure.

The promoter goes out with Fredy to ask him to help her get permission to parade. Betty arranges with the lawyers to secure the embargo so that it will be preventive.

Unable to resolve the smuggling problem with the Dian, Armando asks Betty to have Terramoda seize Ecomoda's assets. Armando calls a meeting with Marcela and Hugo to inform them of what happened.

The Dian (National Police) captures the truck drivers. Charlie Zaa arrives, and the barracks are in turmoil. Armando is shocked to realize they've been tricked, that the middleman has disappeared, and that they can't recover the fabrics.

Armando doesn't realize the car crash because he's so angry with Patricia, she evades responsibility by feigning illness. Armando believes the car was crashed in the apartment's garage, but Fredy is saved.

Betty tells Armando what happened with Patricia, and he calls to complain to Marcela. Seeing what's happening, he decides to travel that same day while Fredy tries to sort out the car issue as soon as possible. When Armando arrives, Fredy can't bring himself to tell him about the accident.

Hugo forces Armando to dress up as a drag queen, and he arrives at the nightclub where he is warmly welcomed. Marcela goes out to eat with Patricia and a model.

Marcela convinces Sofía to return the check. Armando and Betty get a $2 million loan from the bank, but Betty is worried.

Hugo reminds Armando that the drag queen party is that night. Fredy changes restaurants at the suggestion of Yenny, the promoter, and the ugly group loses their money and the trap because Efrain arrives at the restaurant and finds no one there. Sofía keeps Yenny's paycheck, and she goes to complain to Gutiérrez.

Armando receives a model at the office and asks Betty to be discreet. She stays locked in the office all night. Gutiérrez's wife arrives at the nightclub and angrily throws him out.

Armando authorizes Hugo to sizing two of the three models and orders him to find one with a newspaper ad. Betty intercedes with Armando on Aura María's behalf, and he orders Gutiérrez to reinstate her, but he blackmails her and invites her out that night to negotiate her reinstatement.

Armando and Mario convince Betty that nothing will happen to the loan, but that it's just a precautionary measure, and she signs the check. Aura María sneaks into Mario's office, and as they're kissing, Patricia walks in and finds them; a scandal breaks out, and Mario kicks Aura María out. Daniel also asks Patricia that if she's not going to be his informant, then she should leave Ecomoda.

Nicolás brings Betty the checkbook and the company stamp for the loan. Mario snubs Aura María, and she tries to get revenge. Armando and Mario write the check for 100 million pesos for Betty to sign.

Upon receiving the sales reports, Betty asks Patricia to reconfirm her return for the next day. Betty doesn't approve Hugo's hiring of models for sizing, and they rebel against her. When Armando arrives and finds the situation so dire, he asks Betty for a loan from her company for Ecomoda.

Mario invites Aura María to lunch before the trip. Armando, Marcela, and Mario leave for Miami, where Betty takes over and has her first confrontation with Patricia when she becomes her boss. Armando calls Betty a few days later, and she asks him to come to Colombia because things aren't going well.

The entire headquarters gets drunk except for Inesita, who calls Fredy for help with everything, and he takes Betty out, carrying her. Don Hermes picks Betty up at the nightclub. Armando asks Betty to call the executives to let them know she's taking over Ecomoda.

The ugly girls get drunk, and Sofía catches her ex-husband with the promoter, who makes a scene. Roman and his friends trick Nicolás, who's supposedly making out with Román and making him pay the entire bill. Armando convinces Hugo, who proposes a bet that if he loses, he'll have to dress up as a drag queen.

Armando goes to a bar to find Hugo. Betty and the barracks go to a nightclub. Nicolás is at another nightclub with Román and his friends. Hugo arrives at the bar and sees Armando.

When the parade ends, the singer Anasol begins her performance. Marcela tries to get Armando to apologize to Hugo, but he refuses. Hugo resigns and leaves Ecomoda. Don Roberto warns Armando that with those materials, the situation could become very difficult. Catalina asks Armando to look for Hugo because he could publicly discredit him.

Marcela manages to convince Hugo to do the fashion show with RAG-TELA fabrics. The show goes ahead, but the visiting European designer tells Catalina that the collection's designs are good but the materials are not, and that he believes the collection won't work.

Betty tells Nicolás that she has authorization from Armando to move the money however they want.

Betty and Nicolás make the deposit for the new venture. Hugo puts the finishing touches on the choreography for the fashion show.

Betty suggests that Nicolás work for the new company and present a new investment plan. Several days later, they register the company. Armando and Mario plan to replace Hugo's designs from the collection launch with the same designs but using RAG-TELA fabrics, without Hugo noticing.

Armando explains to Betty (hiding the truth a bit) the conditions and reasons why he needs to create this company. She accepts and also tells him to use Olarte's office, but she asks him not to separate her from him. Betty tells Nicolás, and he, very happy, asks if he can do interventions.

Armando raises Betty's salary and calls RAG-TELA to uncover the mess he's been having with her, also demanding a 5% discount. Catalina Ángel, who will handle public relations for the new collection, arrives at Ecomoda. Mario and Armando propose that Betty design the new company, which will have only one owner: her.

Betty talks with Armando and Marcela about the commission she was offered. Daniel shows the recording he made to Olarte, referring to Betty's commission. Armando argues with Daniel, telling him to leave him alone. Betty says she's going to resign, but Armando doesn't let her. He tells her she's an exceptional woman, so much so that he tells Mario he plans to make Betty the owner of the new company.

Betty goes out to lunch with her friends and imagines what she would do with the commission she was offered at RAG-TELA. Marcela is at the club with Hugo Lombardi and Patricia when she receives a call from her brother Daniel. Betty dreams about what Armando would say if she had a lot of money.

Armando and Mario sign the contract with RAG-TELA. Miguel calls Betty to ask how she wants their commission paid. Olarte calls Miguel, who tells him everything went very well with Betty. Daniel records this conversation.

Olarte confirms Daniel's suspicions about RAG-TELA. Armando, Mario, and Betty leave for RAG-TELA to sign the contract.

Daniel asks Olarte to help him investigate whether the fabric dealers offered Betty commissions. Nicolás advises Betty to accept Miguel's offer. Mario goes out with Aura Maria.

Despite having rejected Miguel's offer, Betty recommends that Armando buy supplies from them, as their prices are the most favorable. Daniel visits Patricia to obtain information about the company.

Betty asks Armando for a job for Nicolás. Armando tells Hugo and Marcela that when he goes on his trip, Betty will remain in charge of the company.

Hermes is told that the company he works for is going bankrupt and they're going to lay off all the employees. Miguel calls Betty to reconfirm the appointment. Armando goes with Betty to the banks to register the signature.

Armando has to interrupt his flirtation with Claudia when a call from Marcela comes in. Armando picks up Betty on the street and takes her home, again asking her to always stay by his side and trust him.

While Betty reviews the contract with RAG-TELA, Armando flirts with a former queen who is at the cocktail party.

The ugly women's headquarters dresses and applies makeup to Betty, who is to accompany Armando to a cocktail party for a business deal and fabric contract. Daniel invites Patricia to his apartment and asks her, in exchange for her silence, to spy on Betty and Armando's movements.

Betty insists that to meet Armando's goals, the costs of quality fabrics must be significantly reduced. Sofia causes a scandal with her husband by not bringing him all the money. Armando asks Betty to accompany him to do the fabric business that night.

Orlando removes Olarte from Ecomoda, but he doesn't betray Daniel or Patricia. Armando gathers the family together, informs them of the dismissals and the reasons for their dismissal, and in the process reassures Betty. The ugly women suspect Patricia, just as Armando and Mario do.

The ugly group gives Betty the copies of the files the technician hid, and she in turn gives them to Armando. He interrogates her and she confesses what happened, but only names Olarte as the sole culprit, saving Patricia. Armando interrogates Olarte.

Betty presents the report to the board, while the headquarters distracts the technician and they find the report from the files he is taking from Olarte.

Betty tells Armando that the computer problem has a quick fix. He confronts the technician, who promises to deliver it in 15 minutes. The ugly women keep an eye on him. Finally, Armando announces that the report is ready and the meeting doesn't need to be postponed.

The technician accuses Betty in front of the board of having damaged the computer; she gives the technician the keys to extract the information. Betty's friends help her, and Aura María calls a friend who is a computer specialist and tells Betty that the damage can be fixed in an hour.

Patricia manages to lock Betty's computer. Armando tells the board they have to wait for the computer to be fixed. The technician asks Betty for the password so he can access the information.

Olarte can't access Betty's computer. Betty and Nicolás work all night on the report. Olarte and Patricia plan to distract Betty so she can't finish her work for the meeting.

Mario seduces Patricia and convinces her to go out with him that night. Armando arrives an hour late at the house where his parents have just arrived from London; Marcela doesn't speak to him. Betty works on the report with Nicolás and tells her parents they're going to raise her salary. Olarte goes into Betty's office and turns on the computer.

Armando, in light of the situation and Betty's assessment of the goals set for Armando's project, asks Betty to tweak the data to present at the meeting. Daniel shows up at Ecomoda and asks Olarte to try to review the report before the meeting.

Marcela calls the headquarters and Gutiérrez, the chief of staff, together to inform them that they will be reprimanded and their salaries docked for assault. Armando, having heard Betty's version of events, interrupts the meeting and accuses Patricia, also announcing Betty's appointment as assistant to the president. Betty alarms Armando with the report.

Betty tells her friends that Armando named her presidential assistant, and they go to the bathroom to celebrate, but are interrupted by Patricia, who attacks them. They defend themselves, and Patricia tells Marcela. Marcela goes in to tell Armando what happened.

Despite Marcela's fury, Armando asks Betty to stay and join them for lunch with the executives of RAG-TELA, a textile company, and once again Betty saves the business. Armando appoints her Assistant to the President. Betty cries with emotion.

Armando thanks Betty for everything she's done for him, and she takes it as a declaration of love. A few months pass. Betty interrupts a racetrack at the club to get Armando to sign a promissory note for the disbursement of a loan. Marcela is shocked to see that Armando doesn't scold her but instead congratulates her for what she did.

Betty lies to her parents. Julia, her mother, is happy, convinced that Betty has met someone. Armando delegates responsibility for managing relations with the bank to Betty, overruling Olarte.

Betty goes out with Aura María and her friends to a nightclub, where both Betty and Aura María's friend are bored, as the man is disappointed that Betty isn't the woman he expected. Betty is terrified by Aura María's behavior with her friend.

Patricia, to make Mario jealous, has Marcela set her up with his brother Daniel Valencia, which ends up being a failure due to Daniel's disdain for her. Aura María invites Betty to go out with some friends.

Betty becomes convinced that Armando is the love of her life after Mariana reads her letters. Armando announces to everyone that Betty will take over the financial management, taking over from Olarte. Patricia seeks an alliance with Olarte to fight Betty.

Daniel warns Olarte that from now on he has to take care of Betty and any move she makes.

Marcela and Patricia are deeply frustrated to learn that Betty wasn't fired, but that she actually created the business plan that Armando and Mario are very happy with. Mario tries to avoid Patricia.

As they say goodbye, Betty hands him the report, and he, surprised and fascinated, hugs Betty and sits down with Mario to review it. Patricia tells Marcela about the wonderful night she spent with Mario and the possibilities she has of getting married.

Betty, terrified, tries to stop Hermes from fighting with Armando; meanwhile, Armando, furious, admits to Marcela that Betty is of no use to him and that he's going to fire her. Armando fires Betty without giving her the chance to hand over the work she did for him.

Betty spends all night doing Armando's work, but finds Armando furious because she's late. Patricia and Mario arrive late and without work. Betty doesn't get a chance to hand in the work to Armando. Hermes arrives at Ecomoda to talk to Armando.

Betty and Nicolás work on the project all night. Mario and Patricia prepare dinner and talk about love. When Patricia tries to get him to work, Mario seduces her, and they wake up in bed.

Armando asks Betty and Patricia to help him prepare the business plan, but Betty cleverly tells him that since Patricia wrote the report, he should do the project. She furiously agrees and asks Mario for help. Betty, in turn, asks Nicolás for help with the report.

At the end of the meeting, they congratulate Patricia on the report. Betty confronts her, but Marcela intervenes and convinces Betty not to tell Armando that the report was hers. The Ecomoda employees give Roberto a farewell serenade.

The ugly women tell Betty the story of Ecomoda, its characters, family gossip, and Armando and Daniel's rivalries. Daniel asks the board to carefully review Armando's proposal, considering it impossible to fulfill.

Betty confronts Román and humiliates him. Patricia, assisted by Marcela, asks Betty for the reports, and Patricia hands them over as if they were hers, for which she is congratulated. Armando and Marcela doubt the need to have Betty if Patricia is capable of such an efficient job. At the headquarters, they invite Betty to lunch and tell her the company gossip.

Betty secretly prepares a project to surprise Armando and stand out at the meeting. Patricia overhears this conversation where Betty tells her mother this. Patricia is plotting something. Armando sits down with Betty to file the agenda.

Betty cries inconsolably because they did it to her again, leaving her stuck. Nicolás, furious, complains to Román, who punches him. Hermes, Betty's father, arrives to complain about Román's trick on Betty, and they end up punching him.

Marcela sues Armando about his womanizing past, eventually seducing him and forgiving him, promising not to interfere in his company affairs again. Román calls Betty to confirm his invitation to go out. After a discussion with his father, he gets permission. Betty waits to be picked up even though more than an hour has passed.

Marcela asks Betty to hand over the position to Patricia, especially the diary. Armando arrives and tears up the letter and argues with Marcela. He thanks Betty for what she did and tells her that she no longer needs a probationary period because the probationary period will expire in one of these days. Mario tries to convince Armando not to get married, creating a computer program for him to find the ideal woman.

Betty tries to hide Karina's presence in Ecomoda, she makes Armando take her, but Patricia has seen her and goes and tells Marcela. They try to take Betty's agenda while Armando has left taking Karina.

Armando reiterates to Betty that the personal planner cannot be given to anyone. Marcela arrives at the office to complain about him leaving Patricia out of his personal affairs. While they argue about fidelity, Karina Larson, one of the models with whom he had a relationship, arrives. Betty tries to get her out of the company.

During Betty's first buyers' parade, she makes a mess when she tries to help Armando when he gives her a color chart he's requested, Betty gets in the way of the parade and falls off the stage.

Armando decides to hire Patricia and Betty as presidential secretaries and even though Betty is given the warehouse room as an office, Armando gives Betty the most important duties and Patricia the responsibility of public relations except for her personal agenda, which infuriates Marcela.

Betty arrives at Ecomoda for an interview for the position of presidential secretary with a brilliant resume, but finds that there is a candidate with a better chance than her.
