Steven uses every resource available to get the expedition to Nome Alaska. Steven develops a high fever and the team goes to work without their leader. The men see Herds of Caribou along the shore and end up camping on the edge of the world.

The expedition attempts a 100-mile open water crossing in the Bering Sea. Charles nears hypothermia. Fall approaches and the and the men fear they may never reach the Bering Strait.

After overcoming enormous odds the expedition enters the Bering Sea. With huge waves fading light fog and rain the men and their machines are hoisted onto a crab vessel to spend the night. Wesley calls it quits.

A pilot from Kodiak risks the dangerous flight to refuel the expedition and the men are forced to camp among the prime habitat of enormous Brown Bears. Dangers are amplified when the crew finds a shipwreck and the men question Steven's leadership.

Rescued the expedition finds itself on Afognak Island among enormous Brown Bears. The men cross the Shelikoff Straits notorious for sinking ships and end up on a deserted beach out of fuel. Steven makes an emergency call for help.

The expedition gets caught in a small craft advisory just below Haines Alaska with members of the team getting thrown into the frigid waters? Patrick's watercraft is replaced and the men find themselves sinking in the Gulf of Alaska.

Traveling through Southeast Alaska the team experiences glaciers up close while testing all of their new gear on the Stikine River. Expedition Leader Steven Moll suffers a catastrophic breakdown and the team may have to leave their leader behind.

After spending the night in a Canadian ghost town the team pushes north and arrives in Alaskan waters. Forced to overnight on a deserted beach the men experience incredible wildlife then retrofit their watercraft in Petersburg Alaska.

An expedition of five men on four watercraft make an ambitious attempt to travel from Seattle Washington, though the Canadian inside passage, the Alaskan inside passage, into the Bering Sea and cross the Bering Strait to Russia.
