The exam is just around the corner. Josefine has changed enormously during her time at the school, but last year's anxiety attacks still fill. Ash is super-ambitious, but begins to question what really makes him happy. Luca accepts that the after-school community is a thing of the past and tries to break the loneliness in Randers.
Ash has a girlfriend, but with love comes the uncertainty and fear of losing. His old eating disorder shows its face again. Josefine will be responsible for three new first-year students, but she doubts herself and does not feel like the best role model. Luca moves alone in an apartment in Randers and must start a new life away from the safe surroundings of school.
The boarding school is closed down due to corona. Emma stays at the school in emergency care, but she lacks the community, and trauma from her past shows it's face. She decides to change her name to Luca. Josefine, on the other hand, thrives on being at home during lockdown, where she doesn't have to talk to anyone. Ash comes back to school and pushes himself to the limit - even though it's not good for him.
Josefine and Ask have their first day at Østerskov. Josefine hopes that she has finally come to a place where she doesn't have to feel wrong. She's always found it easier to talk to people when she's playing someone else, but can role-playing help her become better at daring to be herself? Emma, who is in her second year, feels 100% accepted for the first time, but thoughts of what will happen after school have already begun to haunt her.
