Bianca seeks out her uncle Stig to find out more about Börje, her family and their Sami roots. They look back at the Hockey Gala, which was a strong moment for Börje and Stig. Bianca also meets her brothers Rasmus and Anders to talk about what it actually meant to be Börje Salming's child. At the same time, Bianca has to train and participate in the EC Istanbul, but the struggle to succeed in athletics collides with the grief for her father. During a visit to the family's hometown of Salmi, Bianca finally finds a way forward and she decides to refine her athletics venture to make it to the Olympics in Paris.
Bianca competes in Munich with a sick father in the stands. It will be an emotional journey for the whole family, who begin to realize that life will never be the same again. They then travel with a seriously ill Börje to Canada to receive the Toronto Maple Leafs' tribute to one of their top players. Shortly after returning home, Börje dies. All of hockey Sweden pays tribute to Börje in Gävle and Bianca begins to understand what her father meant. But in the middle of the grief work, Bianca will participate in the all-around SM and qualify for the EC in Istanbul.
