Highlights of Castile: Toledo and Salamanca

In Castile - Roman Segovia, walled Avila, youthful Salamanca, and holy Toledo - we'll marvel at art, pop perky pickles, ramble ramparts, and enjoy Europe's most enchanting square.

The Majesty of Madrid

Experiencing Madrid at its fun-loving best, we'll stare down a flamenco dancer, nibble pigs' ears, and ogle lavish palaces before side-tripping for some unforgettable history.

Northern Spain and the Camino de Santiago

We'll follow the pilgrimage trail from the French border to Santiago de Compostela in the northwest corner of Spain. Along the way, we'll run with the bulls in Pamplona and dive into the unique Celtic culture of Galicia.

Basque Country

The homeland of the proud Basque people is split between France and Spain. From San Sebastian, we'll tour the ancient Basque capital of Guernica and the Guggenheim Bilbao. Then we'll cross into France to experience Basque culture at its most vivid.

Barcelona and Catalunya

We'll galavant through the vibrant streets of Barcelona, with its artistic wonders and tasty tapas, then out to nearby sights in the proudly distinct region of Catalunya.
