Charlie is about to land the breakout role of a lifetime, but all he can think of is how Amos and his agency rejected Jax. Charlie goes to visit Jax, where the unimaginable happens. Then back at his apartment Paige alerts Charlie that he's been setup by Josh to look like a drug dealer. In the end, will Charlie get the Hollywood success he dreamed of? What will be the price he pays?

Charlie calls his sister Lily Laudenslager (Celeste Fianna) to tell her how Hollywood's been good to him. On his way to a big audition, he is derailed when seeing his dream girl Paige with Josh and his heart is broken. Charlie gets Jax in to see Amos for a meeting. And a night in the throes of passion with a remorseful Paige once again makes Charlie late to a big audition the next morning!

A top agent Amos Williams (Adetokumboh M'Cormack) spots Charlie, sees him as a rising star and offers to sign him. Though happy for Charlie, Jax is at a lost on how he's doing so much better then himself. Charlie and Paige get closer on the surface but is she an opportunist? And Jax tries to warn Charlie about the Hollywood distractions with a heart to heart with him. But is it too late?

Conned of the last of his money by the shady agency, Charlie finds himself broke. He and Jax (Derrell Whitt) take on another pathetic costume job to make money. Later that night, unable to pay his rent, Charlie tries to dodge his landlord Mickey (Anthony Aquilino), but when Mickey locks him out of his own apartment, Charlie's back is against the wall. He is saved by Josh, but at what price?

Charlie meets a sketchy neighbor Josh (Lou Ferrigno, Jr.) who attempts to "befriend" him, but can Josh be trusted? Charlie reconnectes over the phone with his mom Pam (Lisa Wilcox) in Oklahoma. He takes on an odd job through Gordon (Sean Kanan). He then goes into his first agent meeting with Hogan (Vincent De Paul) and his assistant Sissy (Martha Madison). But looks can be deceiving.

Charlie Laudenslager (Kristos Andrews), a young man with big aspirations, leaves his small hometown in Oklahoma in pursuit of his dream in becoming a famous Hollywood star. But his dreams threaten to die when he comes to L.A. and finds himself forced to live in a bad area and near bad people. Still determined he joins an acting workshop where he develops a liking to acting student and a friend.
