With all the chaos in the village and in her heart, Misa must enter the Pandaemonium to confront the guardian deity who caused all of this to the villagers and to her sister. Facing the devil himself, Misa will need to make a difficult decision to save Anri’s soul.
After an attack by one of the nuns, the villagers begin hunting Misa, who is the new vessel chosen by the cult leader. During her escape, she encounters Ryo in the forest, who is also seeking revenge against the nuns. There, Misa will also meet someone she hasn’t seen in a long time.
Misa goes to Daimon Village, hidden in the countryside, to find clues about who orchestrated the trial against her and in hopes of finding her sister Anri's whereabouts. Upon arriving, she saves a girl from being killed by a mysterious assassin, but soon Misa realizes that the girl follows a strange religion.
During another difficult night, Misa suffers from a nightmare from a year ago, when a mysterious man appeared at the door of her house, and after that, her sister disappeared and her parents were turned into wooden dolls. When attacked by a man with a knife in the subway, Misa defends herself and nullifies the manipulation that controlled the man’s body. Not believing what she says, the police arrest her and take her to trial for his murder. The situation becomes more complicated when a certain person appears to give testimony about Misa.
A reclusive doctor spends his nights hunting vampires in the city and killing them with a stake. What initially seems like a good sign turns into a ticking time bomb when Misa realizes that this same doctor is connected to the emergence of these monsters.
A masked painter is making a name for himself in the art world, but what the critics don't know is that in order to maintain his artistic style, a lot of blood must be shed. Misa appears to confiscate and seal the mask, and Aikura-sensei agrees, but with one condition: to paint a portrait of Misa.
With her powers partially sealed, Misa faces difficulties in finding those responsible for the murders occurring within the group of girls. But when she identifies the magic pattern being formed, she manages to get closer to the one responsible for all the cruelty. (*Due to the themes represented in this arc, the series was allegedly canceled on TV Tokyo, the original broadcaster, following a mass murder crime involving teenagers that received significant media attention in Kobe at the time. Kazue shows her friends that an orange stain appeared in a photo with them, including Misa. It seems strange, but Misa initially doesn't notice anything wrong. When Kazue mysteriously dies and a new stain appears in Yukari's photo, Misa is sure that something very sinister is happening around her and her friends.
Maya participates in paid meetings with older men in exchange for gifts and, along with Keiko, tries to encourage her friend Eri to join this world too. When Eri arranges a meeting with a man, Maya shows up beforehand to steal him, and it is soon discovered that he was murdered. Observing these events, Misa, who had transferred to the same school, begins to take action to investigate this problem.
Mizuki and Sanae are two telepaths who sense the moment their friend Harumi is violently murdered by someone. When they realize that Sanae continues to communicate with a suspicious doctor, Mizuki uses her powers to find Misa and prevent both of them from meeting the same fate as Harumi.
