HON has prepared three dishes for his father, namely deep-fried taro balls, stir-fried crabs with ginger and scallion, and stuffed hairy gourd with dried scallop. To his great disappointment, CHU only tries the hairy gourd.
HON would like CHU to comment on his dishes without prejudice. So he asks LEI to claim she prepares them. CHU is too tired to eat anything when he is home. LEI takes the food home. She runs into TUNG at the door. He finds the food unpalatable. YEE learns from TUNG why HON learns cooking from her. YEE is very strict with HON. He has to work overtime very often. KWAI requests TUNG to cut her pork chop and feed her, as her hand has been injured. She also tells him to go to the movie with her, saying she feels insecure after her injury. As if this was not enough, the others text to say tell him they cannot come. SUM and the others hurry to the hospital as soon as they have got LEI’s call. She invites KWAI to go with her, but she would like to go with her lover instead. So YEE gives her the coupons. HON has bid a fondue dinner at $900 on the Internet. YUNG will go with him. As she sees the “magic heel”, which is in fact the broken heel of her shoes, she realizes she should look at things at a different angle.
