Narad muni, Chandrama and Nandi request Mahadev to visit Sati, but in vain. Prasuti forces Bhrugu Maharishi to take the responsibilities of Sati’s marriage. She insists Daksh to reconsider Sadbhish as an appropriate groom for Sati. Asur Chakri suggests Tarakasur to kill Sati before the marriage. Revati tries to convince Sati, but Sati faints on the day of Sadbhish’s visit.
Sati tries to stop her parents from doing Jal Samadhi. But Daksh is sure that he has fulfilled his role as a father and must leave the world. As Daksh and Prasuti enter the water to end their lives, Sati’s sisters demand that she stop them by agreeing to the marriage her father will fix for her. Will Sati agree?
Sati is sent to bring soil from the River Saraswati for a planet that Daksh is creating. Goddess Lakshmi takes the form of Sati and comes to the palace. By the river, Sati meets two rishis, who ask her to help them with a Shiva puja. Lakshmi disappears after leaving a bunch of lotuses on the throne.
