When El Makhraz quarrels with Khaled, the village chief intervenes. El Makhraz tries to steal the package from Omar's house, but the theft falls through.
Abu Adnan, the husband of Omar’s maternal aunt, dies and they travel to stand by her. Abu Hatim, the village chief, tells El Makhraz that the package belongs to the one with the mark as Abu Naji instructed.
As El Makhraz decides to trap Omar, he tells the people of the neighborhood that Omar has given him fifteen gold coins to silence him. It turns out that the package contains 500 gold coins.
El Makhraz steals Omar's livestock, but he refuses to incriminate him. As Omar tries to do whatever it takes to explain to El Makhraz that the package does not belong to him, he decides to give him fifteen gold coins to stop asking him for the package until its owner returns.
As El Makhraz demands the package that his father left for safe keeping with Omar, it turns out that the package does not belong to El Makhraz, whereupon he decides to take vengeance on Omar.
After El Makhraz returns from prison and tells the people of the neighborhood what has happened to him, he learns that his wife, Hafiza, got married after the news of his death had spread, and he couldn't bear the shock.
