Colin informs Boetie that he should return to work immediately. Boetie is under the impression he is getting his job back, but his boss Mr. Magodi wants him only as a part-time consultant to train the man who was appointed in his place. The good news is, a consultant earns four times more than permanent staff for the same work. The school threatens to expel both the Botha children, one for smoking behind the pavilion and the other for french kissing behind the school hall. They both promised to ever do it again, but Boetie is already fed up with the school and its principal. In the meantime, Bokkie has flirted with one of the pilots, and as punishment she has to fly for a month domestically. Colin brings Boetie a demo model Wi-fi router from work, and the entire house and garden is now a wi-fi hot spot. Ready for home schooling.
The Botha family of Johannesburg is just like any other. The father is Boetie Botha, mother Barbara. They have two children, a son and daughter. Barbie is the oldest and Buks two years younger. Both homeschooling. Bokkie is Boetie's sister who lives rent-free at the Botha's. She is a flight attendant at a low cost airline, Bannana Airways. Boetie's best pal is Colin, who worked with him at "training".
