Wibbly wants to get home to Grandpa Pig, who has a special treat for him. Wibbly wants to get there as soon as he can, but there always seems to be something in his way - a giant who has lost his chicken or a clown who is desperate to sing his favourite song. And if that wasn't enough, two elephants have fallen asleep on the pathway!
Featuring Wibbly Pig and his favourite toys, Pigley, Flop and Dimple. When Wibbly meets a lost penguin, he decides to help her get to the penguin party. He turns his car into an aeroplane and, as they fly south, they meet other friends flying on their way. When they arrive, there is a wonderful surprise waiting for them in the skies.
Wibbly has a very special friend - an elephant! He tries to demonstrate why they are such good friends, but it seems Elephant can't really do any of the things Wibbly can do. But Elephant is brilliant at being Elephant! He can shower water and lift people up and take them for elephant-astic rides under the stars!
Wibbly is flying a very lovely kite that he made while waiting for Aunt Larlie to arrive. He's even wearing one of her very special new cardies that she has knitted for him. But then disaster strikes when the kite and Wibbly fall into a puddle. When he hangs up the cardie to dry, he inadvertently creates a brand new kite!
When Wibbly is doing some spring cleaning, he puts a few old things into a basket, but he and Tiny Pig can't get the lid on - they will have to take some things out. That's when they find Wibbly's old favourite sweater, which he tries to put on. But it is too small! It somehow ends up on Tiny Pig, who it fits perfectly...
Wibbly's friends are coming round for a game of hide-and-seek, but he can't stop sneezing. He won't be able to hide because he'll give himself away! He tries lots of cures, but nothing works. Wibbly decides to be 'it', but then something strange happens. Everyone else gives themselves away - by sneezing.
Wibbly Pig, Big Pig and Tiny Pig are on the beach and decide they are going to make the best sandcastle ever! But it isn't as straightforward as you'd think - if the sand is too dry the castle falls down, if it is too wet the sand won't come out of the bucket! In the end they get the mix just right!
Wibbly is proudly showing off his new rocking horse, Rocket, to Tiny Pig. Wibbly dreams of being a cowboy, but Rocket dreams of being able to gallop along as fast as the wind! Wibbly realises that riding a horse isn't as easy as he thought, but, together with Tiny Pig, they take it slowly, and even manage to round up a few cattle. That makes them real cowboys!
Wibbly is playing under a blanket, and turning it into a tent - the best form of portable home. When Pigley goes missing, Wibbly's search takes him into the deep forest, the cold Antarctic and high into the mountains, where he is helped by a badger's keen sense of smell, a skating penguin and a sharp-eyed eagle.
It doesn't matter how messy Wibbly's room is, no one wants to tidy up. They would much rather play spaceships! But when their spaceship launches, they find themselves in a universe cluttered with toys. The pig friends tidy up the galaxy and when they return to earth, they find the room has been tidied too!
Wibbly is waiting for Grandpa Pig to arrive but he's late. Wibbly remembers some of the fun things they have done together, like playing football, flying his new toy plane and a sports day full of brand-new games! When he does arrive, Grandpa Pig has got his foot bandaged... but he still manages to think of a new game!
What sort of music makes you want to wiggle and dance? Big Pig loves marching, and we all march with him. Spotty Pig loves jungle music, and we all pretend to be animals with him! The Pig Twins like doing the mirror dance and even Tiny Pig has his own dance. In the end Wibbly puts all the music together!
Aunt Larlie has sent Wibbly a present - a telescope! Wibbly loves the way it can make things look so much closer than they are. First he tries looking at Pigley, then the trees in the garden and then, that night, space! There are some space pigs dancing in the starry sky and it looks like a huge comet is falling! It is only a small sticker from his space chart made to look bigger by the telescope!
Wibbly is nervous about the play he is in. Then he finds a silver star in the garden, his lucky star! He asks the star to bring him luck. The star says that if Wibbly helps her get back into the sky she will teach him all about luck. As they try to get her higher and higher, the little star shows him that the plants that grow and the spiders that weave don't need luck, they need hard work.
Wibbly has heard a strange noise and doesn't know what it is. Is it coming from the bedroom? No! That is a little clockwork frog! Is it coming from the bathroom? No! That is a drippy tap! It is coming from the garden! He creeps slowly towards the clickety clackety racket and finds... Aunt Larlie doing her knitting!
Wibbly is planting a seed and has no idea what it might grow into. It could be a daisy, or a tree, or maybe a Pigley tree! Once it is settled deep in the soil, we watch it to see what happens, but it takes ages. In the end the seed pokes out the smallest of shoots and we learn from the packet that it will grow up to be a sunflower.
Everyone is hiding from Wibbly Pig and Wibbly wants to find them all so he doesn't have to be 'it' and he can hide too. But everyone keeps hiding in the same place! Eventually Tiny Pig finds the smallest hiding place ever and they can't find him at all! When they do find him he is made 'it' and at last Wibbly Pig gets to hide!
