Having collapsed, over-stressed by dire firm finances requiring a dismissal, Dirk is hospitalized and seeks to prolong his stay to postpone the inevitable. The physician firmly calls security to evict the malingerer, Smos and Luc clash with the 'aggressive' agent. Insecure Ingrid meanwhile fusses about whether to have plastic surgery, only to find out she's expecting Luc's baby, which forces both truth time and a surprising temporary way out.
Dirk offers his staff a team building event, in Pol's bowling alley. He believed Luc's boasting to get mates rates as former champion team member, but is charged full price, for which he lacks the cash. Worse, he's hiding for the team that the firms is as good as broke. Smos meanwhile feels miserable, having found out Luc and Ingrid's forbidden romantic relationship, even kissing on the job. Both secrets are bound to get out.
Safety First is proud to guard a world executives summit hosted by the modest Belgian branch of a Korean multinational, to prepare the top-secret launch of its latest smart-phone model. Dirk's home-made badges system produces panic when one gets mixed up with Ingrid's during a booty call with Luc. Smos is on their trail, but gets taken off by Dirk, who rather invents a moll hunt and orders a lock-down.
Safety First must guard an exclusive car sales market. Smos falls in love with a foxy blue sports-car but isn't allowed to leave his post, so he begs Ingrid to negotiate for him. Her clumsiness and Smos's open avidity to get it make the owner too greedy to accept a reasonable price, so Luc advises dirty tricks, like sabotage, which go pear-shaped. Dirk is accidentally slapped in the eye by Luc, who refuses to apologize on command, leading to a childishly escalating row. It seems to compromise the whole team spirit, until everyone pulls together to attempt rescuing Smos's dream and Ingrid herself.
Safety First is hired to guard the prestigious technical school Kardinaal Van Roey's annual school rock festival, starring Smos's showbiz idol, DJ & singer Reggi Pinxten. Smos also turns to this musical hero when he learns that his form idol Dirk has life-long trust issues, stemming from a failed trust building exercise in class. Smos's efforts to build confidence with Inrid's help rather underline her. Meanwhile Luc, eager to impress Ingrid, promises to get her kid into the school, which she left too long, but it doesn't fit the criteria and the principal is beyond bribery, so Luc hires a boy to pretend her son is in a wheelchair.
Dirk proud briefed that Safety First is to guard theme park Bobbejaanlaanland 'with a team of eight', but is embarrassingly told on site to shut up by haughty local team leader Kim, who treats the subcontractor team as infantile surplus. Luc and Ingrid actually get caught while he borrow her cellphone. Smos is instantly smitten with Kim, b-neglecting his duty to chase her tail, yet after a booty call, strangely following a rude scolding, is crushed to be told such a 'mere boy' could never be more then a quickie. Attempted petty revenge on a Segway backfires for everybody.
