What dogs can do, cats can do for a long time! When Findus hears on the radio that the first creature in space was a dog, he can hardly believe that humans would send such a stupid animal into space.
At first, Findus is not very good at talking about the big moose. First he chased him across the woods, and then he ate his salami bread. When the moose is chased by hunters, Findus feels sorry for him.
Pettersson's brother Alfred is visiting. The peace in the courtyard is gone and everyone longs for Alfred to leave again. Instead, he wants to build a holiday home in the area.
Pettersson urges Findus to be neat. But Findus doesn't think it's fair for small cats to clean up big houses. He writes a letter of complaint to the King.
There is a circus in town and Findus wants to see the wild tiger. But the tiger breaks out and Findus finds him on Pettersson's farm. Apparently, the tiger is not dangerous.
While fishing for ice, Findus and Pettersson run into a dangerous storm. They just manage to build an igloo in which to hide. But in the frosty house it's cold.
Actually, it's very easy to sow a vegetable bed. But Pettersson didn't count on Findus, the hens and Gustavsson's pigs. His collar bursts: Someone has to keep an eye on the vegetable bed.
Findus and Pettersson want to teach the fox a peppered lesson: Because the old hunter is after the chickens again, the two have put a chicken dummy filled with pepper in the yard.
It's been such a rainy day for a long time! Pettersson looks out the window sadly: Today he just wants to be melancholic in peace. But he didn't expect Findus!
