Upasana, as ordered by Sai, goes to the market, but is intrigued to see moneylenders demanding their money from Dasrath for supplying stale wheat. She defends Dasrath, leaving him shell-shocked.

Sai asks a man to eat some plant leaves which are bitter and tells him if he wants his son to listen to him then he needs to eat these leaves. Sai, later on, tells that man if he wants his son to listen to him then he can't use bitter words like those leaves, he won't be able to digest it. Sunanda is not feeling well yet she agrees to wake up early in the morning and prepare for the religious ceremony because her husband asked her to.
When Sai confronts Balram and tells him he repaired the vehicle properly, he thinks Sai is lying. Sai asks Balram if there's anything that he wants to share with him because if he wouldn't then he will forever feel guilty. Sai asks a boy to get him water using his hands. When the boy brings him water from a pot Sai asks him to bring him water from the well. He asks Sai how can he bring water from well using just his hands, Sai tells him he will have to think and do something, in life everything doesn't come easy, one must learn to improvise.
While a villager and his wife are about to sleep, a bird comes chirping around them but the concerned person ignored the bird. Later Sai came running to his house and saved his son from an about to be a firebreak. Sai even makes the villager learn a lesson to understand the instincts of other living beings.
A troubled parent couple visit Sai with a problem of theirs regarding their son. According to them, their son is not like every other kid and they are worried by it. Sai suggests a solution and gives the parents a task and in the mean while ask the kid to sit with him and other kids and spend some time.
Sai explains the balance of relationship and responsibilities to a fruit seller and his wife using the fruit seller's weight scale. He tells them that only when the scale is balanced its a profit for customers as well as the seller, the same way only when a relationship and its responsibilities are balanced equally between husband and the wife, its a profit for both of them. He explains to them how important it is to have balance in everything in their lives.
When Champa cannot pull out water in a bucket from the well, Jhipri comes ahead to help her. She asks Champa what's wrong with her, she looks very weak, Champa tells her that she is taking medicines because of which she doesn't feel like eating anything and she can't eat a lot of the things because the doctor has said her so. Kamla's friend suggests that she must consult some astrologer who can tell what's wrong with Champa's health by looking at her stars.
Sai asks his pupils to come have a look at his mirror and see what mistakes they have made in life. Two of his pupils see their mistakes in the mirror. When Sai asks Mohan to come have a look at the mirror, Mohan tells him that what's the use of that when he already knows he has made mistakes in life and what is a human being if he has never made any mistakes in his life.
Sai asks everyone to take an informed decision regarding the teacher and Govinda's mother and that there should be no discrimination amongst men and women. Kulkarni turns up and asks his guards to take Govinda's mother out of the village to which the women come in between and stop them from doing so.
After Srikant receives his food and takes the first bite, he realises that there is a lot of spice added in the food. Govinda's mother understands that this has been done by Govinda as scolds him. A student named Govinda comes up with a strange picture which looks like a women but bald and with vampire like teeth. The teacher is shocked and curious seeing that picture and seeks help. As Mhalsapati’s family is getting tired with Tulsa’s behavior, things are getting out of hands pretty quickly, and finally Tulsa mistakenly sets Mhalsapati’s home on fire. The villagers gather and protest against Tulsa and finally she is forced to go back home, but at her home it’s worse her own daughter rejects her and she is in the verge of being homeless.
Tulsa makes another mess and the people of Shirdi are suspecting that she might be a witch in disguise. Sai cure a poor old man for paralysis and spreads the word of love and care. A group of women criticizes Tulsa, claiming that she is negative and improper for their village. Keshav tricks a fellow kid and gets him in trouble.
Sai helps a poor villager, teaching him the value of life and how everything is connected to each other. Tulsa is losing her dependability and her brother’s wife is getting fed up with keeping Tulsa out of problems. Meanwhile Tulsa tries to save a helpless little kitten and in turn gets painted in a bad light in the eyes of the commoners.
Tulsa now has the responsibility of looking after Dwarka Mai, and she isn’t all that equipped when carrying out chores. Keshav plays out a sick trick on Sai, trying to make him eat hot chilies, but Sai has the patience of a rock and he once again proves that no can break his state of peace and clam. Later Lakshmi and Keshav get into a bitter encounter and Keshav humiliates Lakshmi.
Sai asks Tulsa to take care of Dwarkamai and asks Lakshmi to teach her the responsibilities. Sai also asks Tulsa to fill her mouth with water before coming to Dwarkamai. Mhalsapati’s sister Tulsa, is making things worse for everyone, although her intentions are fair but her actions show otherwise.
Sai and a village girl, plan on letting caged birds escape, which she has bought. Mhalsapati’s sister Tulsa has sought refuge at his home. Kicked out by her in-law is has nowhere to go. A mishap happens, while playing with her kid, Tulsa exchanges some harsh words with a fellow villager. The commons get agitated with Tulsa.
Sai along with Laxmi and a few other village kids make a home for the lost puppy, sometime later they find the mother dog with her puppy relaxing at the new-made home for them. Keshav overlooks from a distance but denies participating. A deranged woman is seen running across the village and creating chaos. After an incident between her and the locals, Laxmi takes her to Dwarka Mai, but the locals make it difficult for her.
Laxmi takes Keshav’s cigar box and tells him to find her at Dwarka Mai. Keshav meets his old friends at Dwarka Mai, but time has passed and feelings have changed. The village kids together with Sai build a home for a lost puppy. There is a woman in the village going from house-to-house for food and help.
After returning from London, Keshav has brought gifts for his family but unknowing of the cultures and norms of backward old India, his gifts disappoint his widow aunt. Sai helps a village boy recover from a foot injury with his inner powers of wisdom. Keshav tries to smoke his cigar but in turn cross paths with Laxmi in the peculiar way, where he gets soaking wet.
After Daku Rana gets his redemption from the people of Shirdi, he is seen with Sai at Dwarka Mai. Later that day, Ganga Ram’s wife’s jewelry goes missing and the first suspect for this robbery becomes Daku Rana. Daku Rana is taken to Kulkarni Sarkar, and he exclaims that Daku Rana must be tortured and punished. Sai comes to help the innocent but fails to save Rana.
While the residents of Shirdi have gathered to have a meal, a stranger, with his face covered, sneaks into the vicinity of the temple. Noticing a knife in the possession of the man, Sai's devotees try to beat up the man but Sai recognizes the stranger and saves him. The stranger is Rana, who asks Sai for forgiveness.
Few years have passed by, but Sai and his devotion still remains the same. Laxmi is at Sai’s mandir looking after him, while a poor bee keeper comes up to Sai for his help. Sai with his majestic powers take care of this problem. Meanwhile there is a spy in Shirdi who is keeping watch on Sai, in midst of all the celebration for the upcoming festival. Kulkarni Sarkar gets in a dispute with his wife about whether to attend the ceremony.
Vishwanath heeds Sai's advice and his behavior transforms. He comes out of his shell and interacts with people with a good demeanor. Meanwhile, Keshav, who is in tears, comes before Kulkarni and informs that one of the villagers wanted to listen to the gramophone. Kulkarni advises that he leave for London so that he stays away from the people of Shirdi.
The people of Shirdi feel helpless in front of Kulkarni Sarkaar because of the gold he demands from every household in Shirdi for the Queen's gift. Sai meets an old man who had lost the power if his legs and helps him walk again. All the people in Shirdi gather around to see the gramophone that Kulkarni has bought for Keshav.
Kulkarni Sarkar orders the commoners of Shirdi that a gift will be sent to the Queen of Britain as they are still the ruling country in India, but the people fear that cost of a gift will tear families apart in debt and misery. On the other side Sai shares his valuable advice to a father and son to help them out of their sadness.
Sai confronts Ratnakar before the people of Shirdi. Sai exposes Ratnakar and reveals to the innocent people how Ratnakar exploited them and divided them on religious grounds. The people of Shirdi finally come out of the hatred that had seeped into their hearts and see Ratnakar's true intentions for themselves. Sai succeeds in bringing the communities together and restoring peace.
Everyone in Shirdi fights or their family's survival. With the entire Shirdi burning in chaos, Gangaram takes shrine in Jhipri's house for safety but still considers them untouchables. Kulkarni escapes Shirdi with his entire family. Sai gets to know about Ratnakar being the mastermind behind the communal dispute.
As the clash between the two religions heat up more, the commoners of Shirdi is left with nothing but war, chaos and random events of unhappiness. Sai feels disheartened and defeated that his help is not needed. Kulkarni and Ratnakar harmonize in joy as the Hindus and Muslims fight and their plans gets successful.
Tensions between Muslims and Hindus in Shirdi are growing much worse as they refuse to work with each other. The conflicts start to rise when people fight with each other for work. Parents start to stop their children from playing with their friends from the opposite community. What will Sai do to resolve the dispute? Will he take the side of any community himself?
Rukmini's father apologizes to her for abandoning her so many years and not even coming to see her once. The naming ceremony of the baby ends with Rukmini naming her niece "Shubhangi". Ratnakar's plan seems to work as the people of Shirdi start to plot against each other to win the competition. What will happen now?

As a pregnant woman passes by Shiridi she gets severe contractions. Bayaza Ma notices the situation and brings help, but the new born seems unconscious. On the other side a group of kids call out Sai, as a little bird has fallen into a deep well. As Sai saves the bird, the still birth baby comes back to life.
Ratnakar Rao informs Kulkarni that the Governor has given Kulkarni another village's control. Kulkarni is delighted to hear the news. Sai tries to unite the children and resolve their conflict by telling them the story of the reunion of Lord Rama and his brother Bharat. Madhav's cousin brother Baal Krishan visits him in Shirdi after a long time.
Dilavar moves out of Shirdi and takes Sai along with him. The whole village of Shirdi starts facing natural disasters, the plants dry up and the birds fly away. The Villagers head on, to ask Sai about the mishaps but find that Sai has already left. Bayaza Ma is alone with a broken heart that Sai has left.
Ratnakar is back in the scene and informs Kulkarni that Dilawar is the trump card that he brought to Shirdi to kick Sai out of Dwarka Mayi so Kulkarni decides to let him stay in Shirdi. Sai help one of Dilawar's servants and finds him a solution to his problem. Dilawar gets furious at Sai after another one of his servants runs away.
A goat roams around Dwarka Mayi and Dilaawar is tempted to kill, cook, and eat it so he orders his servants to catch the goat and bring it to him but when Munnu fails to do so, Dilaawar punishes him. Sai decides to help Munnu escape from Dilaawar's chains so he makes Munnu understand that people will treat you badly only if you let them. Who is Dilaawar working for? Does he have any special motives behind coming to Dwarka Mayi?
The news of Dilawar spreads like a wildlife in Shirdi after his advice helps a villager in his business. A horde of people gathers around Dwarka Mayi seeking help from Dilawar for their problems. News about Dilawar reaches Kulkarni's sister Chivu and he orders Anta-Banta to get any information on Dilawar that they can get their hands on.
Dilawar continues to torture his followers and they keep on listening to him same as Sai. A man discovers a treasure after he is given a solution by Dilawar to solve his financial situation so Dilawar decides to take advantage of the situation. Sai urges everyone to get to know Dilawar and how he came to be like the person he is today.
Dilawar takes shrine in Dwarka Mayi with his three followers and forces Sai into a corner which Sai allows him to do. Bayaza Maa and Appa Ji visit him and try to make Sai understand that it's not right but Sai doesn't listen to them and lets Dilawar continues his games. Keshav goes out to play with his friends after promising his mother that he won't see Sai. Dilawar continues being cruel to his followers and Sai.
Dilawar has taken over Dwarka Mai and kicked Sai out of there even after the people of Shirdi protested against it. Chand Bhai comes to Shirdi in search of Sai but is encountered by Dwarka Mai to whom Sakharam asks for help to find Bijli. Chand visits Dwarka Mai again and mocks Dilawar and his men. Chand jumps off a cliff to show Dilawar's men his belief in Sai. What will happen now?
Sai does a miracle and Pandari's fields are already plowed when he wakes up in the morning. Sai also tells him to get back and use the seeds which Anta-Banta threw into the well. When he takes out the seeds, they are not at all spoilt. A man named Bilaawar enters Shirdi and punishes a kid who was playing with his friends there.
Kulkarni meets Sai and asks him to disclose the location where he has hidden the gold coins. Meanwhile, Pandari is working hard to overturn his fortunes. In the blistering heat, Pandari remembers Sai and asks him for help. Then, Sai informs Kulkarni that he has hidden the gold coins in Pandari’s agricultural land. Kulkarni head towards Pandari’s crop field.
Pandhari struggling to get out of a constant loop of problems tries to get out of them but fails miserably. Not being able to bear Kulkarni's torment, he and his wife decide to commit suicide after poisoning their children. But Sai comes in at the right time and saves the day. How will Kulkarni react to this?
Pandari's problem seems to be non-ending as Kulkarni continues to pressurize him for the money. Pandari decides to sell his belongings to Kishan Lal who offers him 50 paise for everything. Sai meets Ratnakar Rao and feeds his horse some water. Ratnakar Rao goes around Shirdi influencing people in a negative way.
Shirdi's people visit Sai and tell him that they won't let him leave or let anyone hurt him. Jhipri and Champa hug Sai and plead him to stay in Dwarka Mayi. Appa Ji is convinced that Kulkarni had something to do with this. Ratnakar comes and talks to Kulkarni about Sai having magical powers and him using the black magic to make other people follow him. What will happen now?
Jhipri is saddened by the comments made by Keshav and informs Sai about it. Keshav returns home crying and informs his mother he made some harsh comments to his friends, which made his feel bad about himself. Kulkarni is planning to evict Sai out of the town. How will Kulkarni achieve his malicious motive?
Ratnakar Rao has decided to acquire Shirdi's land anyhow and is willing to go to any extent to do that so he invites Appa Ji, Kulkarni Sarkar, and Mhalsapati to his house for dinner. He tries talking to them and lures them into his trap by giving them expensive gifts. Later Kulkarni gets to know that Rukmini and Keshav had food so he throws Rukmini out of the house.
Everyone including Kulkarni is intimidated by Ratnakar Rao's presence in Shirdi as no one is aware of his intentions yet. Kulkarni and Appa Ji receive a letter from Ratnakar Rao inviting them for a meeting. Kulkarni also receives a letter from the Britishers asking him to help Rao buy Shirdi's land. Will Kulkarni help Ratnakar? What will happen next?
Ratnakar Rao enters Shirdi with a plan that no one is aware of. He tries to win the faith of people by giving them generous gifts. He invites Kulkarni, Appa Ji, and Kishan Lal to meet him. But little does everyone know, Ratnakar Rao is in Shirdi to the entire lands of Shirdi. Will he be able to achieve this? What will Sai do to save Shirdi from him?
Sai gets to know that Kulkarni is ill and his health is deteriorating each second so he decides to help Kulkarni get better. He gives Kulkarni's son a Vibhuti which he takes to his mother. Rukmini prepares the Vibhuti and gives it to Kulkarni. Will Kulkarni's health get better? Will Sai be able to change Kulkarni's faith?
Bhama and Madhav return to Shirdi and stay at Mhalsapati and Parvati's house after being kicked out of the school by Kulkarni. Appa Ji and Bayaza Maa try to support Madhav and Bhama. Kulkarni is furious at them returning home and takes out his frustration on his wife. All the children reach the school to study but Madhav is not there to teach them. Will the school ever be re-opened?
Kulkarni’s men overhear Madhav asking the villagers to seek treatment from Sai. After learning about it, Kulkarni forcefully evicts Madhav and his pregnant wife from the house. The couple decide to leave the village. A stranger who meets them in the darkness of the night, guides them towards the rightful path. Who is this stranger?
Suvarna challenges Sai and holds the Tamasha the same day as Sai's pravachan in Hanuman Temple to see if people will go for the devotion or entertainment. People get together in a herd to buy the front row ticket to the tamasha. Kulkarni is content to see the chaos which Suvarna Bai has created in Shirdi.
Sai comes to know that the women are worried about the bad influence of Suvarna. Bhaisa informs the women that Suvarna might not be at fault. Later, a women, whose daughter appears to have been influenced by Suvarna, meets Sai and informs him about the bad influence of Suvarna. How will Sai resolve this issue?
Sai's isn't back to Shirdi and Bayaza maa is Adamant of bringing him back anyhow. Kulkarni gets to know that disappointment in Triambhak led Sai to leave Shirdi permanently which made him so happy that he announces that he will treat every person in need without charge for one week Sai meets someone in the jungle. Bayaza maa again goes to the jungle to look out for Sai.
Everyone is worried and waits for Sai to come back but he is nowhere to be seen. Anta and Banta come to confirm if Triambhak is dead already or not. Bayaza maa goes to the jungle to find Sai and is encountered by a panther. Anta and Banta take all the people who came to see Sai for their treatment, to Kulkarni.
After Triambhak's whole charade, Sai is extremely dissapointed in everyone so he decides not to trust anyone and stops treating people. He apologises to Bayaza and leaves Shirdi. Triambhak's condition worsens so Appa Ji and others decide to find Sai and bring him back home. Bayaza also goes to the jungle to find Sai and gets into trouble.
Everyone is happy and excited as its the last day of Triambhak's treatment but little do they know a big problem is coming their way. Kulkarni gives warning to Anta-Banta that if they don't make Triambhak eat something salty, he'll kill them. Anta-Banta somehow convinces Triambhak to come with them to a party and make him eat something salty because of which he faints and bubbles start coming out of his mouth as if he was poisoned.
Bhama requests her husband to take her to Vithal Rukmani's Temple before she conceives their child. Bhama's husband is worried as to how to take her to the temple in a condition like this so he seeks Sai's help. Anta-Banta fail again in an attempt to make Triambhak eat spicy food and are punished by Kulkarni. Bayaza is happy as Triambhak's last day of treatment arrives.
Sai tests Triambak's patience level when he comes to Dwaraka Mayi for his treatment. He makes him cook the food for the children with him and also makes him wait to eat the food while the children eat theirs. Kulkarni tells Anta-Banta to somehow get Triambak to consume salt as according to Sai it's harmful to his health.
After Bayaza took Trambhav to Sai for his treatment, Sai starts his treatment in a unique way which Trambhav's wife doesn't approve of. Bayaza catches Trambhav eating excessively while hiding it from her which disappoints Bayaza. Kulkarni gets to know about Sai treating Trambhav and gets furious and he orders Anta-Banta to keep an eye on Trambhav.
Bayaza's brother Trambhav who is suffering from some disease is in Shirdi to get a proper treatment. Bayaza decides to take him to Sai but without informing her, Trambhav's wife takes him to Kulkarni first. Kulkarni realizes the benefits of treating Trambhav and decides to take the advantage of the situation.
After the curfew has been lifted by Kulkarni, Bayaza bai's brother visits them with his wife and gets into trouble with Anta and Banta as soon as he enters Shirdi. A crippled man visits Sai and shares his problems with him and asks Sai to treat him. Instead of treating him Sai sends him in a search for a lamb.
Sai recovers from dehydration and Bhaisa is happy to see him recovering. Kulkarni is informed that Sai has invited him for an inauguration. Seeing that drought has affected the region, Sai decides to provide water for the people who come to see him and Kulkarni’s presence has been expected by Sai. What new ploy will Kulkarni weave this time?
The water problem in the villages around Shirdi worsens as people start migrating away from those villages in search of water. Sai faints due to dehydration but refuses to drink water and would only drink water if Baba Saheb from Neem Village offers it to him himself. Why is Sai refusing to drink the water that Bayaza Bai offer him?
After Sai came and visited Rehana's house to check up on Saleem, his condition stabilized and Saleem started getting better. He even woke up early the next day to get ready. The man who is working for Kulkarni comes back to his house at night to sleep but sees something in the woods and gets scared.
Bayaza and Appa Ji are worried about the situation in Shirdi and decide to talk to Sai about it. Bayaza tells Sai about Salim and how he sits at home all day and doesn't work. The Thief goes to Kulkarni and reports everything to him of his encounter with Sai. Kulkarni tells him his plan to diminish Sai.
Vishnu and his family come to Mhalsapati’s house for marriage. Vishnu Tawuji doesn’t like Mhalsapati’s family. He asks Mhalsapati to wash his feet with his hand. Mhalsapatiji washes his feet. Tawuji says it is cold water and says they didn’t make arrangements for warm water. Aayi asks someone to get warm water. Vishnu thinks why Tawuji is doing this.
At midnight, a man sneaks into Kulkarni’s house. Kulkarni wakes up and sends a police officer to catch the man. The police officer manages to find out that the man who sneaked inside Kulkarni’s house is none other than Jeeva. Kulkarni suspects that Jeeva stole valuable items from his house and informs this to the police officer.
Aayi asks Bayaza to drink milk and laughs seeing milk on her lips. She tells her that she brought earrings to Yamuna and says what you are thinking that how I am changed. Bayaza says she is not thinking anything. Aayi says why you never gets upset. Bayaza says you looks good scolding me. Aayi hugs her. Appa and Tatya come there. Tatya asks him to pinch him.
Kulkarni does puja in his house with Rukmini and Chivu. Kulkarni praises Rukmini for fulfilling her duties as a good wife and gifts her saree, and jewelry. Rukmini gets emotional and happy. Kulkarni blesses Rukmini and Keshav and asks him to be careful that he shall never bend his head in front of anyone and calls him Nayak. He gives gold chain and pendant to him. Chivu thinks what was the need to give gold to a child. Kulkarni gives something in the bag to Chivu. Chivu checks it and finds a necklace.
A dacoit enters Shirdi. Bayaza talks about women unity. Rukmini says time has come to return home. Sai asks her to fulfill the responsibility of married life, but not to bear injustice. Dacoit jumps down the wall and enters Shirdi holding knife. A villager sees him. He hides his face with a blanket.
Rukmini comes out of the house and hopes she will get to see Sai. Sai talks about showing the right path and making other people's lives easy and comfortable, that's the only religion that people should follow. Kulkarni is furious when someone attacks him with an arrow and believes that Sai was behind the attack.
Mhalsapati tells his wife that they will get Yamuna married in a month and says he will talk to Sai first and then go to market. Kulkarni calls Appa and asks why did he take Aayi to Sai whom he was treating. Rukmini comes out of the house and hopes she will get Sai’s darshan. Sai talks about showing the right path.
Rukmini asks Servant about Sai. The servant tells her about Sai and says he calls Bayaza as Maa. Chivu comes there and scolds her. Bayaza comes there and asks if she can do the path. Rukmini gets happy and says she used to do path before marriage. She says she will confirm after seeking Kulkarni’s permission. Will Kulkarni give Rukmini permission?
Bai Sa is making Prasad and thinks her faith is strong on him and hopes she doesn’t lose her patience. A woman comes to her house and looks at Bai Sa from the window. Tatya calls her Rehana mausi and says he will give her laddoos. Bai Sa says she must be getting late and asks Tatya to go. She goes near her and tells that she understands her concern, says Tatya is small and she will make her understand. Rehana keeps saree on the window. Bai Sa accepts it and keeps the money. A few years have passed since Sai Baba left Shirdi. Bhaija is sure that Sai will return to the village one day. Meanwhile, Sai Baba is met by man, who is looking for his horse. Seeing that the man is thirsty, Sai Baba taps on a boulder and water gushes out of it. The man quenches his thirst and then his horse comes rushing towards him and he is glad after being reunited with his horse. Later, the man informs Sai Baba that he is leaving for Shirdi and Sai Baba decides to accompany him.
It is the dawn of India’s Independence movement. A British officer pays a visit to Vaidya Kulkarni and warns him about the movement that is gaining strength with each passing day. He informs Vaidya that no one in the village should assemble in groups. He assigns the task of keeping a check on this to Vaidya and leaves. Vaidya visits Sai Baba but before he can utter ill words, Sai Baba decides to leave the village.
The small town of Shirdi, is visited by a man clad in simple attire. His arrival catches the attention of the inhabitants of Shirdi. The young man starts meditating under a tree. His presence is met with hostility by Vaidya Kulkarni. When Sai Baba preaches that all gods are one, Vaidya pokes fun at him and makes it clear that he should leave Shirdi.
