Mads has been looking for love in all the wrong places, and the app 'YesNoMaybe' has been his drug of choice, when dealing with the hardships of love. However his friends Julius and Louise are fed up with constantly being left in the cold, whenever Mads' phone vibrates. Mads is forced to choose between the love of his friends and the quick fix of his newfound lifestyle.
Mads tries to woo a pregnant girl by giving her a grand tour of the cemetery where both Kierkegaard and Hans Christian Andersen are buried. The weather shifts as much as her mood and she's not impressed by his pretentious anecdotes. They realize that there is no basis for a romantic relationship, which makes them bond on a whole other level.
Aspiring screenwriter Mads happily looks forward to the return of his girlfriend Clara, who's been in Berlin for a month searching for inspiration. Instead of curing Mads' writer's block she leaves him for a better man. Mads finds himself in the turmoil of single-hood, as his friends Louise and Julius urges him to stop complaining and start meeting girls on the dating-app 'YesNoMaybe'.
