Everyone thought that Anders Adali, the medical assistant, was a regular family father. But behind the scenes he lived double life as one of Sweden's heaviest bank robbers. Adali was part of a growing group of professional robbers in the 21st century.

Ioan Ursut, known as the master builder, escaped from the Hallanstalten by rubbing himself in butter. In October 1989 he shot two police officers with multiple shots on Mariatorget in Stockholm. Behind his desperation was the fear of being released to Italy.
