The Louvin Brothers were an American musical duo composed of brothers Ira and Charlie Louvin (Lonnie Loudermilk 1924 - 1965) and Charlie Elzer Loudermilk (1927- 2011).
Bill Monroe - The Father of Bluegrass - orphaned at age 11, raised by his uncle, fiddler Pendleton Vandiver. Learning the fiddle from his mother and taught further by his uncle, began playing dances with uncle and brothers.
